Counting spaces

Perhaps counting spaces in one of the articles on TheGothamTimes.com or TheHaHaHaTimes.com

[EDIT]

Page 4 of the TheHaHaHaTimes.com has "It's the space between" circled in red, but different for the rest of the red circles to call our attention to it, maybe?

Ok so I got the email from humanresoursSPLATwhysoserious.com and came up with an idea. The email has the number * and 7 spaces. So if you count the number of spaces as a number you get Just got an email from humanresourcesSPLATwhysoserious.com:

If you've finished my quiz, then it's time for the next step in the interview process, something to test your aptitude. Spaces count:

* SeventyEighth
* SeventySixth
* SeventyEighth
* SeventyNinth
* SeventyNinth
* SeventySecond
* SeventyFourth
* SeventySecond
* SeventyThird

now if you add those numbers keeping in mind that the combination on the safe only goes up to 100 you get a certain number by going all the way around heres what I've got:

* Eighth 78
* Sixth 54
* Eighth 32
* Ninth 11
* Ninth 90
* Second 62
* Fourth 36
* Second 08
* Third 81

Can someone check if this combination works?

I tried the numbers, but nothing happened. I'm pretty bad with combination locks, so I could've done it wrong.

You can right click to zoom in close to the lock.

It might be possible that you have to put the numbers in like normal safe by going forward and backward for each number...

I tried the badge numbers at the GVA Foundation but it said it was invalid.

I was never given the option to put in numbers when I called the GVA Foundation. It only gave the option of leaving a message. It mentioned something about taking a psycology screen.

If I read correctly, the e-mail is how Mausoleum (by counting letters and spaces on the Quiz pages) was found. and not a lead to the combination.

So, I'm low on ideas right now. Sad

Well, I was thinking since there were 8 numbers in the badges (4217 and 6773) and 8 lines in the clue that maybe it is
Eighth
4 on the Sixth spin
2 on the Eighth spin
1 on the Ninth spin
7 on the Ninth spin
6 on the Second spin
7 on the Fourth spin
7 on the Second spin
3 on the Third spin

But I can't seem to see the numbers very good, and I keep missing them on spins- they are too small - can someone try it? I doubt it will work but maybe.

I agree with ecks51, the numbers in the email led us to the website, I don't think they're involved in the combination... I think maybe the badge numbershave something to do with it...
