BTW, the wave in the hacker's art is taken from "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" which depicts a Tsunami-like wave off the coast of Japan.

I think that account with the pics is OOG, I think the fact that all the creatures in the Tagruato hack image are Pacific and that's where the tsunami was is enough to create the coincidental situation.

Maybe the hackers are saying Tagruato had something to do with the earthquake that caused the Tsunami.

Here's the wiki article on that Tsunami.

Is the epicenter near any Tagruato rigs?

The pics are real but not from the Indian Ocean Tsunami, rather a research expedition in 2003.

Apart from the wave in the pic, i dont think those pics have anything to do with a tsunami imho.

O. M. G.

And this is what happens in one night on Unfiction, huh?

First - why is everyone arguing whether this is IG or OOG? As far as you should be concerned, it's IG. And as far as you should be concerned, it's a pic that's rife for analysis.

Second - I'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but is that a second jellyfish behind our poisonous Aussie buddy? I'm not sure.

Third - I'm definitely sure that that's the destroyed city-scape is New York. There's what looks like a destroyed Statue of Liberty, with possibly the head torn off, directly to the left of Ganu's head. Prophetic. Maybe the hacker is an insider? However, I'm also concerned that there's what looks like a trail on the top right of the pic leading from the ocean to NY - just like the poster. Oooh.

Three - somebody earlier mentioned claw-marks. Looking at it, I think the dumbo octopus is actually over a footprint. And while we're on that subject, there has to be some importance behind the rather prominent sediment piled up outside Ganu's window. What's up with that?

Four - Also, I'm pretty sure this hasn't been mentioned, but the Tanner Crab, according to a website, lives in the Bering Sea - which, if I'm not mistaken, is where Kosho Station is. I don't think that the connection of the animals is hints at our monster but, rather, they're all located right next to drilling sites. There's no deep weird foreshadowing in the animals themselves. I think it's just an environmental statement.

That's what I've picked up. Excellent job so far, everyone.

Did anyone else notice the Monster right above the squids head. It's head is sticking a little bit out of the water. And if you zoom in there's a suprising amount of detail and it clearly looks like a monster of sorts. Also if you assume that's a monster it's the correct size in comparison to the SOL that the above post mentions, to the right of his head. The monster is the correct size. Just thought I'd point that out.

IT'S A GODDAMNED OCTOPUS!!! GOD, RETARTED! Laughing

And pics plz of your monster find, because I can't see what you're referring to. Thanx.

And seriously, it's an octopus, not a freaking squid. This isn't The Matrix.

Just got home from shopping all day, and watching Hitman, and 24 pages! Yikes!

BTW, Hitman = meh.

Anyways....

I made a mirror of the old Tagruato website here: tagruato.cloverfieldclues.com

more later...

IG problems

If the hack site is truly IG, none of what we would see as SOL, NY and what not has not even taken place yet. So how would the hack have any idea about the NY destructo and anything to do with SOL unless The Cause is something like Rachel from the LOST ARG. Perhaps Ted and company have indeed uncovered some secret information about the impending attack on NYC.

Perhaps ol' Ted knows what attracts the beasty. And maybe Ted has seen some supporting documentation.

And then again, perhaps I took just a little too much NyQuil. Confused

I think I'll agree that the monster may share characteristics with these sea creatures/forces. It'll have a shell like the crab, be poisonous like the jellyfish, be multi-limbed like the octopus, be disguised/really ugly like the ogrefish, and be strong like the wave. Or maybe it'll be:

Man that was a long time ago...I miss when those aquatic fiends were relevant...

Daaamn, tromp off for a few days for Thanksgiving and look what happens.

Not exactly an innovative comment, but I'm digging the simplicity of the idea that this creature might be a chimera-type mix of the features of the animals depicted.

Hello, first time poster here. I have been following this thread all day and here is my input.

1st valken i can see the creepy creature to the left of the octopus and it bugs me to look at it.

2nd i was thinking that maybe the roman numeral corresponds to that number letter in the name. so for example t in tanner r in irukandji, m in dumbo, e in ogre and g in kanagawa. it doesnt spell anything but just some insight. t r m e g.

good night all
