I don't believe it's been posted before... but I see nothing about it that says it's official... just a decent short summary of what we all know.

I prefer the ShockTillYouDrop writer's preface before the 'offical' description:

"After seeing the trailer debut this week, you didn't have to venture far to guess what Paramount's Cloverfield is about: Trendy New York hipsters with a camera document the annihilation of the Big Apple by way of a giant monster stomping the crap out of buildings..."

Quite well expressed, I say... stomping the crap out of buildings.... That's veritable prose.... poetic and dulcet in tone.

It makes me want to see it even more.
