Thanks, hinoai

I guess this makes the operator officially OOG. However, we know the name of a PuppetMaster, which feels almost...dirty Shocked Laughing

But that doesn't place the "mailbox/password" system OOG yet. It also doesn't necessarily mean that someone won't eventually respond to messages left on that machine, sort of like how 18DKageshimaSPLATgmail.com only started responding to emails recently.

providing an email address as contact info

Just an idea, perhaps if a contact email address was given to them in lieu of ones phone number. I doubt the PM's are overly cheap, but if they get many phone numbers they may be more likely to continue the game along via providing info that can be just emailed to the participants. It would be easier for them.

Hmm... I think there's two ways that we can look at this.. Either they're in-game and they've given us another clue through that name (and in which case, anyone who calls and talks to the people will get the same response), or they really are the phone company that handles the calls.

I'm slightly more inclined to the first option, because it felt more like I was being led around than necessarily fumbling my way around. And second, because I've called plenty of message systems in America and Japan, and the "on hold" music is never background music from a monster movie.

Why does it make them OOG?

Until someone says "No, this is OOG" I think we should keep digging.

Hinoai, you're awesome! And, being a teenager, I know awesome when I see it.

Speaking of which, I'm still waiting for a reply from them to my angry-stock-holder email I sent....

Sounds like they were not prepared. I'm sure this isn't getting a whole lot of training time.

There are several listings on IMDB for Nicole Phillips as a producer. Granted that is probably a popular name. So I don't know...

Ahh! I'm sorry, I did give them my email address also. But she took it down fast and didn't ask for clarification, so I'm not sure that she actually wrote anything down at all.

The last time I was put on hold (supposedly they were checking out Nicole's number for me), instead of the normal elevator music or classical music or whatever, the hold music sounded like the score for a monster or action movie. I could have imagined that I was watching a monster attack a big city, for example, but there were no other sounds, like people screaming or sound effects. Just the score. Surprised

It's cool, you are doing much more. I figured you would have thought of it, but just wanted to mention it. I mainly lurk and read, you however 'do' stuff. I thank you for your activity.

I think some other people should call and ask for either the same things (I started by asking if they spoke english, "eigo ga shaberimasuka?" and when she affirmed, I continued on in english asking for info about the company, of which they had none), or ask for job information or something, and see if they get the same thing as me. If it's IG (like I suspect), then maybe different questions will get you different responses?

Aw, I do what I can.. ^^ I can't do much more since I work a lot, and I can't call internationally or anything. I only hope they'll release the movie over here at the same time (very unlikely)!

Well done Hinoai, it appears my recommendation of your 'translation' skills has served its purpose. I know the type of music you are talking about;... sort of like the music from 'the day after tomorrow' in the Hollywood tornado scene, or the NYC wave scene etc. Maybe it'll appear on the soundtrack.

So... Nicole Phillips eh? I dont think she is related or IG. She is probably just a PM or real-life Bad Robot marketer... In any ARG, if you dig deep enough, like you did, you're bound to eventually scratch the dim surface of reality.

We need to focus more on the phone number extensions.

It sounds like more people need to call and see if they get the same response.
