Just want to poke my head in here and say that NTMC is waaay too close to PTMC for my liking.

(For those of you who know nada about older combat flight sims, PTMC was the Post-Terran Mining Corporation, a massive mining corporation from the Descent series . . . whose primary antagonists were malfunctioning mining robots. Granted, said robots were being controlled by sentient alien nanotechnology, but still . . .

Also, Xenomata? Sounds like a portmanteau of xeno and automata. Rogue alien robots, anyone?)

lol i love it when someone trouts themselves. shows a good sense of humor.

I for one think a game based off of Descent material would be great. unfortunately, it looks like we're stuck at the moment.

EDIT: oh wow, i don't know how i missed this.... three five-digit numbers appeared on the mainsite, one each on the three satellite images. aaaaand they each go-in order-in the X: Y: and A: slots on grid4. this is what you get...... http://www.xenomata.com/core/griddata/mkrat/mkratio_draft_11995.gif

the effect is different if you input the numbers themselves, so go ahead and do that. there's a line of comment text identifying the origin of the memo as CEO smith's desk. i'm gonna check the rest of the source code/directories right now, might update again, might not. we're definitely going to need some editing/image improvement on this one. those black bars look like they could be lifted. a steno might be nice too. I'm going to take a couple shots at it in gimp later, but i assume it's going to need some photoshop work.

ah damn. well, we need to at least steno it before we write it off.

so who's gonna take care of that? i'm kind of screwed on that front, no Mac-friendly steno software (someone should really fix that....)

hi all, i like to be in this one if there is more...

2 things to say:
1) in the source of the page scanit.php after the login was written that the document was
on p.smith desk (the ex CEO) in building one.
2) now the page is gone how you can see, and in the source it tells something about a change of protocol and network.........
i tried the https but nothing......
done a little bit of port scanning and found some socket open but nothing interesting, on more is a hosting server so i don't want to go any further in this kind of invstigation, maybe the owner of the server doesn't like it too much.
by the way, there is an empty anoymous ftp.....
