Wow you people fail at reading comprehension and you're quite rude to boot. The nerd rage is strong in this forum...

He never once claimed that the monster IS a Centaur only that its overall shape will resemble one.

Operator, I will agree with you in that the nerd rage is a little bit far out in this forum, but considering the tone of the initial post in this thread, the nerd rage was in the offense, as well as the defense.

Besides, how easy is it to validate the thought process below, without basically saying "Dude, it's a freakin' centaur, for sure!":

Someone said Minotaur --> "Minotaur" *tugs at ear* "Centaur" --> Most people mistake the two (evidence???) --> Could be a centaur --> Claw marks + dents in buildings + millisecond video footage --> Centaur-like-body --> I'll title this post "I though you guys would have caught on sooner"

Although not explicitly stated, we were pretty much being told that it's going to be a centaur... And I'm totally cool with this opinion, but I just wanted to help shed some light on the apparent conflict.

Maybe our response had more to do with the arrogant tone of his post. If you'd care to re-read it. Although it probably should have been ignored as a probable troll.

Or he could just be kinda excited that there is a chance he caught something that others haven't. We all want our day in the sun. I don't believe he meant to come off as being arrogant. Even so, wouldn't it be more mature to respond in a polite way instead of with sarcasm?

You have three posts, so I don't think you can speak for the many others who have to constantly deal with repeat posts/threads from people who can't be bothered to read existing posts before claiming to have found something new. It's especially grating when that something ends up being, as in this case, an attachment that seems to consist of a black squiggly line over a piece of white paper.

I don't have many posts either, but I'd feel safe in assuming that that's how most of the regulars here feel. It's cluttering and bothersome when people post without checking first, and even more so when they do it with "aw guys what's wrong with you all" attitudes.

(I don't think the thread-starter here was so bad, however. It's just getting frustrating overall.)

It positively amazes me how serious a discussion is held over a stick figure drawn in paint, uploaded with a massive expanse of extraneous canvas, with a silly tone.

To add to your serious tone in my discussion here...
It's interesting to note that most associate the term 'troll' with the mythical creature that lives under bridges, repulsive and crude. The name however more effectively is derived as a noun form from the verb trolling, originating from the angling tactic of running a baited line through the water to try to entice fish as it passes by. Trolling can use some otherwise less effective baits, because it's movement exaggerates it's moment of opportunity and causes a reflexive reaction to feed. Quality bait can also be made more effective for the same reason.

My feeling exactly. Some of us have been here for along time. Having to put up with the Colby Rooks, Hmoghosthoost and his twenty different accounts, plus all the other trolls who make things a pain in the ass sometimes. If i overreacted a little then i apologize, i just hate someone saying ha ha ha ha look i got it and u didnt

Well, I don't know where you came up with Centaur, however, the possibility of an Ush-Oni is still [SPEC], and good [SPEC] at that.
