[SPEC][INFO] official description?

 		Official Description
...released by Paramount?
According to the Cloverfield Clues site, this is an official plot synopsis released by Paramount. They also indicate that there is now an official Cloverfield website at www.cloverfieldmovie.com. It currently contains only an HD version of the trailer, but does include the Bad Robot and Paramount logos.

 		Ahh yes, the redshirts. Poor dears.

Some poor unknown crew member blindly stepping onto the transporter; he has no idea; despite a steady trend of disappearances... No idea at all.

It usually happens fast too... within a few seconds of beam-in.

Rubber monster; light-beam, non-corporeal being.... Whatever the instrument; they are doomed.

 		While we're on the topic, lets steer the discussion this way. IMO, we have sufficient proof that Jaime will not be in the movie. Will she die in the next few months? Next few weeks?? By teddy's gift? Why?
Again, this is my opinion, so if you think she'll still be alive on january 18th, i'm interested.

 		the only way she's not in the movie is if she dies in the bathroom at the party on the 17th/18th before the monster attacks... she's in the picture with rob and hud so we know she's gonna be at the party... i still dont understand why we've gotten more from her character than any other character... i mean she could end up being the monster (that theory's been thrown around) so obviously she wouldnt be in the movie but still plays a very important part... idk the whole jamie thing is very confusing...

on a side note: i met someone named jamie the other day and was like "oh i know someone named jamie" just outta instinct... even though i dont think i know anyone named jamie... cloverfield... oh cloverfield...

In the Heroes ARG and graphic novel we were given loads of info about a character who only appeared in one or two episodes and she ended up being our main source.

Same thing with the Lost ARG only the character wasn't even in the show.

I think Jamie is important to the ARG, but not necessarily the film.

Not sure.

She'll probably be in the party scene.

She may turn up at other points, but my gut tells me that this ARG will keep going after the film is released and we'll get more stories, probably involving Jamie.

I have this weird feeling that this whole thing may end up setting up some sort of computer game, but that may be due to the amount of Hellgate: London I'm playing.
