[SPEC] Incident site US 447

i beleive this incident site is indeed a part of a whole array of incident sites all around the NY area. It is hard to beleive that the monster only focused on central park. plus we see destroyed buildings and explosions.

That or it's just a random number the film production assigned to it to make it look more realistic.

My point being that I don't think 'Incident site US #' wasn't invented for the Cloverfield, that it was a term the US Military already emplyed for whenever there was an incident they had to contain in the United States, such as anti-terrorism, test accidents etc, and that Cloverfield is the newest one to be designated a US Incident site, and assigned the number 447.

I certainly feel that there'd be another 476 Cloverfield related sites in the United States if it's all mostly caused by big monsters, but I do admit that I'm working from limited info.

I doubt it.. just a #, probably invented to make it sound good. I'd be surprised if there were more than one city being attacked by giant monsters.

they probably split NYC up into sections for clean up, and the camera was found in that section, i doubt it has alot of meaning. but watch i'm waaaaaaaay wrong and it has everything to do with the movie

I'm going to go with "no". As someone said earlier, it may just be the military's system applied to more efficiently identify whatever sectors were effected by a natural disaster or, I don't know, say, A MONSTER.

Good thinking, though. I wouldn't have picked up on that.
