It would have to be a great game to warrant playing it. Since this isn't an action movie, it would almost have to be something other than strictly an "action" game.

Thinking something akin to Shadow of Colossus with a survival horror bent. Perhaps escaping NYC, where the monster is hulking around in real time. That's a game I'd play.

Cloverfield would have to be an RPG! and you would level up your party (the slusho 7) and they would all wear +5/+2 glass helmets! Slusho would heal hit points, then you would have to save the princess and who was kidnapped by the evil Grumpypantz and he would have a long epic speech before you fight him. Upon saving the world you would find out the princess is in another castle (yes i kno i kinda left RPG world at the end)

the multiplyer would be epic as well....you'd get to fire a gun whilst jumping through the air and yelling "AAAAAGH! (5 cool points to anyone that can name the movie that last quote was from)

LOL Laughing Also, in the epic multiplayer, everyone would have to be calling eachother gay, noob, fag, t3h h4x, etc... And there would be lots of weapons with one rediculously overpowered weapon that everyone uses. And there would be many campers. And Spawn killers. And many more...

And the quote is from Hot Fuzz, but it was shooting your gun up in the air yelling "AAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!"... "I always wanted to do that...."

You mean like this? Wink

I reckon I would buy it were it a Res Evil/Shadow of the Colossus/FEAR/Silent Hill style survival horror with the monster rampaging (sorry) in real time (much like what Aurigan said, except more actiony).

It could be like Michigan. That would be sweet.

I'm a fan of the Fatal Frame games, and considering the movie's done in Shaky Camera-Vision, I think it'd be awesome if a Cloverfield game included using the camera. Not as a weapon like in FF (duh XD), but, like, a skill-testing bonus. How clear a shot of the monster can you get? ... Oh no, now I'm reminiscing about Pokemon Snap. ~_~;;;

A reply in another thread reminded me of something I was thinking about. How cool would a Cloverfield game be? I have no idea what it would consist of (running around getting while trying to film?), but I'd get it!

Sorry! submit ur answers again!!

This is too funny. My girlfriend and I were just talking about this while watching tv earlier. I was saying how freaking awesome it would be if they made a Cloverfield game

Nope

Not in a million years would I buy a Cloverfield video game. First of all, I hate monster movies, but this one has my attention for some reason, and second, unless it's a sports game or a Mortal Kombat game I won't play it.

However, the Slusho 7 in a Sims type game wouldn't be that bad.

Wow, interesting ideas!

And in this game you could shot the monster, but not with a gun, but with handcam, like they did it in "Project Zero": in that game you have to shot zombies and ghosts with your old photo camera. Very scary.

Btw, the "Gallery" mode was adorable! Smile

Fun ideas:

-Journalist attempting to capture footage/photos of the monster? There could be tiny monsters to get in your way, military interference, etc. The object could be to get information to the outside of this government conspiracy or whatever.

-Escaping the monster from a different group of people's point of view (this would also make a cool short movie, story, comic book, whatever. Like those animated Matrix things)

-SimCity/Zoo Tycoon type thing where you run an off-sea drilling operation, and you have to farm the monster's resources and such while keeping it from escaping and destroying the world and stuff. Also managing business, hippie attacks, etc?

Whatever it is, I want there to be cheat codes to make the monster a lion.
