Not really, I just sat here and banged out a list in a couple of minutes. It was just a fun thing.

Seriously, if all you play is sports games or Mortal Kombat games, you are a noob. If your friend plays only that, then buy him a copy of Halo 2. Please.

Also, it would be cool if there were parts where you are the monster. It would be extremely cool if it was in 1st person, through the view of the camera. If you get cool shots of the monster or the little monsters, then you get bonus points, like in Dead Rising.

Oh yeah, there would be Slusho in the game as well.

I could just imagine it...

"Hud, quickly, this way!"
"No, you can't go into the middle of the ci...oh, hold on, my toilet meter's glowing red, I've gotta go pee."
[Marlena runs off, the Slusho however many wait, Marlena comes back]
"No, you can't go into the middle of the city!"
"Boat!"
"What did you say, Lily?"
"Boat!"
"Mountain?"
"YES!"

God, that would be terrible.

[Rob talking into camera, slusho 7 standing round watching him]
Rob: My name is Ro-
[falls to ground suddenly and starts snoring]
(silence)
Hud: What just happened?
Beth: Well, his sleep meter was pretty low.
Hud: Oh. Well, what do we do now.
Lily: I don't know. We could just wait for him to wake up.
Jason: Let's do that.
[S7 stand watching Rob sleep as city crumbles around them]
[flouro blue puddle appears on floor]
Marlena: Is that slusho?
Lily: No, Rob's toilet meter just dropped to zero. Who wants to clear it up?
Beth: I will!
[Beth spins round. When she stops spinning, she's brandishing a mop proudly. Starts mopping up Rob's puddle as S7 watch silently]

Buying this game would be just as stupid as buying a War of the Worlds game, you'd just be running away from it the whole time. Yeah, GAY.

It'd be kind of cool if it was an entirely new coastal city, after 1-18-08, and the whole world's kind of on-the-edge... but you could be, like, a school student, and the game starts off all happy-sunny, but then as you progress and it turns more toward night, the ocean gets all tidal-wavey and the monster appears... and then it could be a survival/horror/fps, where you'd see the monster a bunch of times, but have to just fight off spawn of it that attack the city. :Q

That'd be interesting to see laid out on a PS3 or Xbox360... whole crowds of Radiant AI citizens screaming, fleeing, random ones dying by random falling debris... shweeeeet. :3

Well, actually, the best Cloverfield game ever is ... the game we are playing now.

And honestly, I think with sorrow about the day this game will be over, perhaps after the premiere. But I'm optimistic. Perhaps the movie won't dissolve the whole mystery, perhaps it'll get only some clues, so the whole viral game will be continue also after the movie.

If it was another FPS twitchfest, then no. But if it was a very atmospheric, horror/survival game, get out of NYC before it's gone type deal, then that might just suck me in.

Also, a small game being a whale, a bit like Flow, could be nice and relaxing. Little less obvious tie in, but the DSI makes people feel like whales, right?

With the power of today's game systems and computers, I'd really like to do something like this:

You are one of the main characters.
You have to find your friends (or simply the living ones).
You have to try to escape NYC with your friends. The more friends you can rescue, the better your endgame score.
NYC is built to scale. Major landmarks and famous buildings are important.
Monster is hulking around in real time, doing real damage to buildings. Thinking similar to Shadow of the Colossus, with the exception; you cannot kill the monster.
You can die by getting crushed by any collateral damage the monster causes. You can die if you are inside a building when the monster attacks it.
You have no weapons at your disposal. Exception: If there are smaller monsters, as there could possibly be, you will have a very limited assortment of weapons to handle them (baseball bat, knives, possible firearms being handgun, shotgun, and hunting rifle). Ammo will be scarce; it is NYC, after all. Still, your best bet would be to avoid or possibly sneak/find alternate routes around creatures. Thinking similar to Silent Hill.
Time is important, so time may be set to scale or accelerated appropriately, so you must escape NYC by dawn. (Gives room for theory that NYC gets bombed as a last resort plan).
Background material you get from rescuing friends or through discovering it on your own.
    Convenience stores will have Slusho!

That runs counter to all preconceptions I have about NYC. Very Happy

I don't think you should be one of the main characters though, we will know how their stories end, we should be another person in the city, there are millions after all.
