Someone should send that to PETA, lol. Anyway Im so against animal testing - completely repulses me. Tag now likes to test on children, elderly and animals.
You know, i know it's fake, but the article really got to me. I have a black lab that was a rescue dog and I just thought about if someone dunked her in an icy cold vat of slush.
I know me too, I thought of my poor dog being given a baby swimming pool of Slusho and it made me mad, lol.

its also interesting the corporation took the animals that drank most slusho with them. i dont think they ve done that out of generosity, i spose they want to see the effects on them, since they drank "more than six".

huge quantity 40 liters drank by 24 puppy/kitten. That is almost 2 liters of liquid each! I can't imagine a kitten/puppy drinking more than it's body weight... 2 liter is about the amount that my 70lbs lab drink in two days

"Slusho!-friendly animals" means there also Slusho "resistent" animals, isn't it?

They might as well just come right out and call themselves "Langoliers"

Nursing homes are monitored by nurses. Nurses probably employed by Tagruato. Also the baseball team was Tagruato Lions was it not - I wonder if they are the children of Employees.

The fact that Yuuka (a "Slusho Smiler") said "This one will come home to Ganu" implies that Ganu Yoshida is more than just a CEO - he's conducting the experiments, i.e., he's the mastermind behind whatever is going on.
Nothing too radical there - I'm sure everyone suspected as much, but now we have some further evidence for that.
EDIT: The "lucky" dog's name was "Pickle." Rob messaged Beth (on myspace) about eating lunch together, and he said "Let's go to a deli so I can have your pickle." Obviously, there's no connection between these two things - I only mention it because PICKLE might be a password for the Tagruato/Slusho answering machine (which is discussed in detail on a diff. thread). I doubt it, but figured it was worth mentioning.

Who are we to deny our loved pets super strength and an overwhelming feeling of pure happiness?

I agree with you Melampus.
It's weird that a company that big, with billion dollar drilling stations all over the world reffers to their CEO in such a personal way.
More than weird, disturbing.

Ugh. Animal testing. No Slusho! for me when it comes out, thanks.
I think you guys may be just jumping the gun a little on the Ganu thing. Obviously, Ganu's worked hard to keep Tagruato - and himself - in the public limelight and to be seen as a benevolent figure - his photo of a caring, pondering man on the Tagruato website, his mentioning in the Slusho! history, his meeting of the Tanzanian Energy Correspondent, etc. This could be just another example of Ganu appearing loving and thoughtful to the public, that he'll take home a homeless puppy. Still don't deny the research labs being set up in the shelters, though. Surely this is bad for the animals - what kind of effect does Coke or Pepsi have on animals, because you can multiply that by several times with Slusho.

This reminds me of a scene from the Canadian film "Phil the Alien", where a CIA trainee has to kill a box of puppies with a cheese grater, because they're a "treat to national security". I almost peed my pants.

PS... does anyone support animal testing on here? would i get lynched if i said i do? it did prevent both myself (anaphylactic) and my mom (diabetic) from dying...

A few things that are interesting about the article:
1. It makes a point to say that the workers at the animal control center were paid less.
"Bearing armfuls of Slusho! happy drinks for all the lower wage workers "
2. Its very obvious they will be testing on the animals, but possibly not in the dangerous way, they may simply want to see its effect on the animals, see behavior changes and things like that. Rather than the torturing, dangerous style.
Edit: I think the reason the animals 'go home with ganu' is that officially, the company isnt taking them, its just Ganu's pet.
Also, I do support animal testing, well not so much support it as not have a problem with it.
