 		Maybe something happens to the launched sattelite regarding the lightning or weird weather that could possibly trigger some kind of reaction (then something else something else) and creates the monster back on earth.

Also, I have a feeling like Teddy is possibly one of the imported "young, fresh minds."

Ehh Possible but I am betting on Teddy being involved with "The Cause" which I am guessing turns out to be against Tagruato.

If that was the case, wouldn't the "Cause" be a term used as well by Tagruato, referencing something like a humanitarian cause through cheap energy solutions for example.

I think these are merely giving us more background into the wide range of activities Tagurato is involved in. From scientific research involving puppies, to space travel, to slusho making, to think tanks, to wax production etc. Tagruato is everywhere..... Twisted Evil

I like that. That's good. The fact that he launched in a lightning storm is interesting - fits with recent posts speculating that Ganu is conducting all this research in a hurry, that he's under some time pressure to stop some disaster.

But, they started this satellite project seven years ago. Maybe it was originally built for some reason related to their drilling operations, but now Ganu has other uses for it - he converted it to monitor the monster they just found out about..? Maybe? Hurm...

I am inclined to think that they are building a story involving Tagruato. Especially since the hacking incident.

Genbu (again from Wikipedia):

Japanese Genbu (ditto):

 		Maybe Ganu's been using his own product, and now he has delusions of grandeur. From the story about the Lions (the little league team) and Vernon McDoogle's articles, it seems Slusho! only makes people feel like they can do anything; it doesn't actually give them the skill to do it. So, maybe Ganu has become addicted to his own product and it's made him loopy. Just a thought.

Also, the quantum physics thing is weird - totally out of step with what we've known so far about Ganu & his "dream." Biologists, Geologists, Zoologists, Oncologists... I'd understand any of those; but, quantum physicists? Why? Why would Tagruato need a whole squad of physicsts, quantum or otherwise?

 		Why use somewhat famous people's names?
The new investor news item about the physics dream team Tagruato just hired features two names: Johan Hedberg and Mike Siegel. A quick google on both of these names reveal that these names belong to some fairly famous people. Johan Hedberg is a NHL hockey player (actually from Sweden like the one in the article) and Mike Siegel is a radio talk show host and communications expert. Why would they use these names when so far, they've been pretty good at making up fairly unusual names (Ganu, MacDooble, etc.)? Just seems like an odd choice, especially when the first google results point you directly to who these people really are.

They are for Bold Futura the Engineering Branch of Tagruato. To create deep sea robotics.

Anyways, he isn't forced to justify any of his actions.

With that much money maybe his personal guard is dressed like Stormtroopers, with laser weapons and all. Or are clones of himself.
Or whatever.
