[SPEC] Futue Advertising Plans? Now i was on the street team (for those of you who dont know a street team is a guerilla advertising thing. They send members of it promotional material for free to get the word out) for Lost way back when, and they sent me postcards for the airline that the characters all flew with. They informed us to take them and put them all around town and in airports. which I thought was pretty cool. Now i wonder what the Bad Robot people have planned for teh film. What all do you think will also happen? In 98 Godzilla had crushed cars sitting around London. It would be cool to see something like that.

Wow, cool. A scan please?
And I thought now: it were very cool if they spread around the miniDV with some footage (not necessarily with monster, but with some "running away" footage).

This is one of their things for Lost
Still trying to find the postcard online. No luck so far. I guess tonight i will be going through my closet for it.

It's getting kind of late for theatrics If they are going to do something cool for this film. They gotta jam. In all reality, these guys have one month to pique the interest of moviegoers.
Sure, they got us. I am going to see the film no matter what. They have my 7.50.
And by the way, I will be doing a media blackout on myself. Typically I read reviews about a movie then go see the movie. Not with this. I want no idea about how good or bad it will be.
As far as marketing, I wonder if 7-11 wil do a Simpsonesque marketing agreement for Slusho? And even if they did, that would mean that Slusho plays a huge role in the movie.
IT is my speculation that theaters will sell Slusho for the run of the movie. But the would mean an agreement with whoever does ICEE.

Wow, thank you for pics! It looks great. But... I'd personally a little paranoic if I'd see in an airport a crushed aircraft, hehe

I'm with you. I am all about the media blackout before seeing this. I am about ready to start a internet and unfiction forum blackout as well as I want nothing ruined when i step in to see this movie for the first time.

With Slusho! being sold for the run of the movie, I can tell you all if this happens. I'm a concession worker at my local theater and we usually do cool things like this for movies. Our last one was for Transformers so I expect that it's time for another fun thing like that.

Maybe lite-brites all over big cities?
And about the media blackout, around January 10th I'll start taking the spoiler warnings seriously, and starting the 15th I won't even touch my computer.
