So, did someone at Tokyo Post slip this message into the box, or what? Or, more seriously, is there someone working at Slusho! who doesn't feel so sure about the company they work for?

Elaralas, did the one you got happen to be the same shape of paper as mine? Oh, and two more things;

1: It doesn't look handwritten, more like printed.

2: There was a large rip in the box, meaning one of two things. a) It got ripped as being sent through and mailed, and just got taped up b) someone wants to make it look real like someone wanted to slip it in. My guess is definatly a., but I thought you should know about it.

EDIT: Well, three things. The date on the front is 11/24/07. Just making sure everyone knows.

It makes sense in the sentence, but I don't see how you can get "expect" from that scribble.

 		If the message on the back is real, I would expect the front (japanese) to be completely unimportant. I think it is supposed to be just a scrap of paper (looks like a print-out of an email or memo on letterhead) that they grabbed quickly & very quickly scrawled this note on.

The mystery word kind of resembles "await" to me, but is pretty darn scrawled. The rest of the text is very poor "quick" handwriting. If it is really written on there, then someone else should get a copy with the word more clearly written on it.

yes, but isn't it possible that what they grabbed happened to be something important?

EDIT: also, possible that a clue could be hidden in it?

wow! First time poster here, but I've been following the cloverfield forums for some time (everyday), but I just needed to say how exciting this new "find" is and I can't help but hope its IG. It would be curious to see if different people get different notes?

ps- Maybe I'll just have to buy a Slusho! shirt for my honey since hes the one who got me into this. Lol, here is the shirt, now, let me see the packaging!

The last two letters look like "ct". Before that is something that looks like a "p", with possibly room for a scribbled "e" in between. Now, being a student and all, I've had plenty of experience in trying to read messy handwriting, so I feel qualified, lol.

 		Am I the only one who thinks its weird that two people who have never posted before are the only people who have seen this Tagruato memo in their t-shirt packaging? Unless they are sending these letters out with every shirt now what are the chances that someone who visits this site got the letter? I am going to guess that they are sending them out now since the movie date is approaching so it probably isn't that much of a coincidence.
