 		So this basically confirms that the monster/cause of monster comes from the Chuai station.

btw Whistle Blower = Teddy <---?

Just sending an email to them should be fine. They don't exactly ship stuff right away. If I were you, I would just order what you wanted, and leave a note in the new order to cancel the old one.

Well, that's always been the belief to some extent, ever since the Tagruato website was discovered. Chuai Site just got started in September 2007, and chances are they tamper with something.

Kozmo, Bacon, Lunastar, and myself have been trying to translate the note (stamped with the label "Important Secrecy"), to see whether this notice is an Opening Celebration invitation, or a Memo of Caution. This memo's meaning could definitely change the course of the ARG.

As far as the Whistle Blower being Teddy... I don't know. I thought Teddy was a member of the resistance AGAINST Tagruato... this seems more like an inside job.

I am not that sure at this point it is that elaborate. Al you gotta do is make up the document, print it out, tear it up, and have your buddies login and support your ruse by saying me too, me too.

In fact, I am building a document that looks just like it in Quark. I also have the kind of paper used. It is parchment 22lb bond paper.

As far as the Japanese/Kanji, all that would take is someone like the guys tearing this doc down.

It looks elaborate. But again, if Rose or Bass, Euchre etc. get on here and say "I got one" I would wholly trust it. At this point, I don't. FOR THE LOVE OF PETE I hope it's real.

 		You'd think someone would know Japanese... we're freaking reading symbols, which can mean multiple things (like how we have sea, see, C), and that won't get us anywhere.

I could ask a friend who is a foreign exchange student from Japan, but chances are someone will post here soon before I bother her with that.

Of course, whether Teddy works for Tagruato or is a member of some resistance organization is still all speculation at this point. And, yes, a whistle blower in general refers to someone within an organization that calls out wrongdoing on their coworkers.

While we're speculating, it could be that Teddy is one of the "good people gone missing". After all, in the last video Jamie did express some concern about not hearing from Teddy for a couple of days.

Flowers are usually smart. Showing your appreciation for her getting you exactly what you wanted is good too. You could even tell her it was clever (despite the methods not being the best obviously). Then go have some makeup...

 		Even if it isn't real, it doesn't really give any new information. We already knew something was going to happen at the site closest to NY and we knew that there are people trying to stop Tagruato from doing whatever they are doing. Now if the memo itself says something then we could something worthwhile here. It would make sense if they didn't put anything too mindblowing on this paper (if it is IG) since not everyone would have access to the information.

Edit: I also don't think the whistle blower is Teddy because it would be weird for him to address to "American" if he is American also.

so yes onto the business at hand. I always felt like teddy could fall into either category at this point. TheCause or Tagruato. For all we know the Cause consists of Tagruato employees. Teddy could be working for a while and realize that things aren't quite right in the company and start a small resistance within the company to thwart the evil Dr. Robotnik...i mean Ganu Yoshida.

You are absolutely correct. Because they used three seperate forms of Japanese throughout the document, it is much harder to translate than it looks. Especially with Kanji Japanese, in which each word has multiple meanings. Rolling Eyes

We're working as fast as we can, but so far, not much has been discovered. I'm about to publish what little (and I mean "little") of what we do have, and I will give you the URL address for it as soon as we do.

Thanks for the patience. We're pressing hard with this thing, and it ain't budging much.

Holy crap Shocked .....I leave for the library to type a paper, check out the forums at midnight and this is what we've found?!?! Im astonished!

14 pages and counting, I have a feeling these ripped papers are definitely not OOG, it seems there's been way too much effort involved for that to be the case.

One thing which came to mind however, and im not trying to take away anything from anyone who found the pieces of paper, but to play devil's advocate, anyone else think this could come directly from the higher ups involved in Cloverfield to create a stir? As in they've created accounts here at UF just for the purpose of advancing the ARG (if we've come to that)?

That's what I meant by overelaborated. I rather have one guy saying he got a mail from Ron with a poorly done image. That doesn't get us jumping trought hoops. Right now I'm trying to get in touch with every one I know who studies japanese. All I've find is what we already know.
