Ehhh, is fun. Even though I only have 2 so far. Is this just a timekiller or start of something more....?

Which two do you have?

You got to be dead on accurate, it seems... I've entered the coordinates to one three times already and it's not accepting my answer.

If this is a time killer, you don't have to share. If this has a higher purpose, it'd be nice. Very Happy

Got 4 now.

I have (spoiler'd for those who want to do it themselves!):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1: Astronomical Clock in Prague:
Lat: 50.087008
Long: 14.420917

34. Raynham Hall:
Lat: 52.79682129490529
Long: 0.7896069703624636

40. Villa Savoye
Lat: 48.924444
Long: 2.028333

49. Big Ben Clockface
Lat: 51.500611
Long: -0.124611

If some don't work, try reversing the long/lat... I know what number 29 and 7 are, just hunting down coords.

Awesome! Struggling through lighthouses now, to no avail.

Anyone any idea on the letters/numbers/etc under the pictures? I assume they're clues or something but I'm not pulling anything from them at all.

Well the Al Capone one said "Aug 1934" (which led me to Alcatraz), but I don't know what they mean for the rest. I assume they're clues, but haven't made sense of them yet.

I've been trying to put in the Lat/Lon for the Beatles one as Abbey Road Studios (on or about... Longitude: -0° 10' 39" Latitude: 51° 31' 55"), but it doesn't seem to want to take it.

Yeah, some seem helpful and others seem to make it more confusing.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

7. Astronomical Clock in St Mark's Square, Venice
Long: 12.33916172444913
Lat: 45.43290218208145

This IS fun! Maybe try Liverpool for the Beatles?

Tried that as well, but can't get precise coordinates on that.

BTW: Dark Side of the Moon was ALSO recorded at Abbey Road Studios...

*EDIT*

#37:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The house from The Amityville Horror

Lat: 40.666389
Lon: 73.414722

32. Fort Royal Prison (Where the Man in the Iron Mask was held)
Long: 7.04481100
Lat: 43.52343400

Hmm. The album cover ones are very odd. Can't make cake of them at all.

Edit: Woo! Go, Nighthawk. Was trying to figure out where I knew that house from. 10 down, 39 to go.

Seems like it's just a Facebook application? Just for fun thing then, I guess. Meh.

OK, a comment... I'll spoiler it anyway even though it's technically not an answer.

#39:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That's from Casino Royale. I can't find an exact coordinate for it; the casino is supposedly in Montenegro, but I can't get an exact loc.

The albums and movies have got me. DSOTM and Meet the Beatles were both recorded at Abbey Road Studios, but there are at least six different coordinates for each of the buildings in Google Earth.

The albums are:

#6: AC/DC's Back in Black
#17: Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon
#28: Rolling Stones' Exile on Main St.
#47: The Beatles Meet the Beatles

The movies (that are left) are:

#21: Clockwork Orange (which is my favorite movie of all time)
#30: Mad Max
#39: Casino Royale

*EDIT*

Until we get all 49, who knows?
