see i still haven't missed much. Feel free to TROUT me on this, it's kind of a stretch...but i noticed that the song lyrics in both email have question ( ?) marks, instead of apostrophe marks ( ' ).

trying to find some clue in the song, i searched many, many lyric databases.

there appears to be only one w/a script error that throws in question (?) marks instead of apostrophe marks, so i assume this is where cstrife311 copied the lyrics from:

this is also the only lyric database [that i seem to find, at least] that gives the date Jeff Buckley performed this song: Dec. 31, 1995.

If you google that date, the number one hit is about high energy X-radiation.

Perhaps there is some significance to that, or maybe cstrife311 just happened to copy the lyrics from this source and didn't noticed the ? marks.

I know I'm a newbie, but I'm guessing that using a brute-force to crack the /craig password is unethical, and I give up on trying anything else...

No major update or solve yet, but I believe that cstrife was trying to say Jeff Alive... Jeff Buckley - "Alive".

Or is that too much of a stretch. Maybe Jeff didn't really finish himself off.

But he's not on justin.tv or posting on his blog. He hasn't responded to email either. Grrrr.
