Ok, whew....

I've been lurking this game for quite a while now and I've read from page 1 all the way here to page 95 and I've been so interested in this game that I thought I'd jump aboard.

Ok, so I don't know if this has happened to anybody else, so I'm just gonna jump right into this here.

Anybody remember the number from before? the number that you could supposedly reach Jeff at? Well I called it again a few minutes ago, and got Jeff's voicemail. I was a bit freaked since this is my first ARG, so I didn't leave a message or anything. Well, I figured that was it.

But instead, I got a call. Yup. A call from 231-730-3622. That look familiar to anyone? It's just, the area code is in Michigan, namely a group of cities. Among them is Big Rapids. That's just a bit too coincidental to me.

So when I finally stopped rejecting this guy's calls, I answered. He said "I received a call from this number." and I asked him who I was speaking to.

He said "My name is Dan." So, I hung up.

But when he called me back again, he still seemed unusually calm for somebody who'd been disturbed in the middle of the day. I asked him where he was calling from. "Iowa, Cedar Rapids."

I told him I had to call him back because I had yard work to do, but I really just didn't know what to say. I figured if this might be the next opening in the game, I might need to ask you guys what I should do before just talking straight nonsense to some guy like Dan Bullerman.

If this has already taken place, let me know, because I don't wanna be a nuisance. I just figured I'd stumbled upon something nobody else thought of.

I received calls from that phone a LONG time ago. I totally forgot about it. But before he texted me saying it was Dan's brother. We texted for a while, but I changed phone numbers. I'll try calling it from my home phone.

I wonder if the PM's name is really Dan and he didn't know who you were either and now he doesn't want you to call anymore because it's not a planned part of the game. Who knows.

Went back and had a look at the image that was on play.htm. We were way overthinking it. The clue was simply hidden in the file information - although in my defense I had used an EXIF viewer in Firefox on the image and for whatever reason it came up with nothing. Simply download the image and right click to look at file properties and the info was right there.
