Another quick note if you "select all" on the bullerman.net site.... you will see eight spaces before = 72.92970606 (dont forget the 0) was that on purpose?
Does that mean the password is eight characters? Heck, we don't even know the login yet lol.

Very possible. Although assuming this was done on purpose, there's a space after the equals sign, so if he's being consistent, there ought to be one before, which would make the password 7 characters.

But as you said, even if we get the password right, may not know until we're certain of the login.

EDIT: Never mind, I was mis-counting. It's 9 spaces, so 8 plus a space before the equals sign.

Login aside. Jeff said his friend SNIder, used to sing old macdonald using math symbols. so if we follow this.... and the clue from bullerman.net (don't forget the o) the password SHOULD be e,pi,e,pi,o right? if that is so, we just need the right login.

Well I'm not sure about the password, but "I sine Leo" could mean i*sin(e), or i*sin(something to do with Euler).

I agree - although the 0 in the text is a zero, not the letter 'O'.

Unless... maybe the 0 is a symbol that looks like a zero, like sigma, or phi. I can't see a link between Euler and sigma, but there's 'Euler's totient', aka 'Euler's phi function'.

Plus phi is another mathematically significant number, the golden ratio = 1.61803399

But phi doesn't sound like "O." The only constant I can think of off the top of my head that does is rho. It represent density or the radius in spherical coordinates.

EDIT: There's also some new stuff in the bullerman source code...

JB, its not that hard. have you lost your touch? I thought you were with us. log into the mail exchange already!
L = 72.92970606 (dont forget the 0)
P E4A6D8A4D6E8D5E6A8A4D6E8, play on JB, play on. "make the best of whats around"

Okay, so L=login, P=password, which leads the login to be maybe epiepi0 (as in e*pi*e*pi+0), and the password is the unbreakable code. I don't have time to do all this now (Xmas shopping nightmare), but someone else should?

Clearly "Make the best of what's around" and "play on" are supposed to be clues - any ideas?

The quick google search I did came up with a Dave Matthews song, but i'm fairly sure that's NOT the solution. Very Happy

Though, I suppose the password we can't break MIGHT have something to do with chord structure (E,A,D with numbers). They do come in 4- "chord" blocks, could this be a song?

if it does have to do with chord structure... I would be even farther lost lol.

I suggested the chords idea a while back (page 22), and someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about (feriwiccan) said they couldn't be, because: "There are no "8"s (EVER) and rarely are there "4"s. "

We have all these clues, I can't believe we're not getting this...

That could very well be a chord progression. I'll look up some tabs to see what I can find. And I'm pretty sure there are 8's and 4's in rock chords, just not classical type things. I just looked up some tabs to see if there was such a thing as an E8 chord and there seems to be.

See, we were just getting to that, but then we all got distracted by your post and now we'll never get it. ;-p

Thanks for putting in all the work on that wiki. Smile

It could also be notes, rather than chords - you refer to notes by their octave number on the grand piano. So, an A8 is a VERY high A.

The only problem is, i'm not sure how either chords OR notes will translate into an alphanumeric password, unless we can turn it into a song somehow.

Great miki... make sure you provide me an email address if you want me to add you as a registered user if it ever has to go private to keep unwanted eyes out. I will try to remind everyone. Thanks
