I just emailed Jeff as well, telling him that we think the next step is the cemetery. Hopefully he will make his way there soon.

In the e-mail he also said he had a friend helping him try to break the code. Naturally, I asked him questions about his friend since the last one didn't turn out so great. I am awaiting his reply.

That could be because of the comment I left on his blog last night, then maybe not. I told him if he goes to the cemetery he should take a friend with him, if possible, to watch his back.

update, /hide and Jeff left a comment

www.bullerman.net/hide

has updated with the following:

I would like Jeff to meet me there. Lets just say...its in memory of another friend and fellow employee.
All that I want to do is talk. Do not tell him anything of me or he won't exist anymore. Don't go to police.
That would be useless as I don't exist. You will understand, in time. Send him my way and we can get this
silly nonsense over. I will contact you with a time...when I can be ready.

Dan Bullerman

The comment Jeff used to respond to me.

could I see the /hide folder? this is something I have not seen yet. I really would like to be involved in this as much as possible.

I'm going to give Jeff the login info. Because if I don't, I'm afraid we are going to lose his trust. I going to fire off a letter to Dan as well, telling him if he doesn't want Jeff to know what's in that folder he had better remove the stuff and replace it with something else and If he has to use the web to make us another directory.

Well, phooey. My first email to Jeff came back so I tried again and it came back... again.

tidusiaSPLAThotmail.com

This is it, right?

EDIT: Maybe we should tell Jeff that the info we could get from the cemetery page might help us figure out the login and password for /hide. That's a lie of course...

Ahh, on the Wetpaint page it says "hotmail"

EDIT: As usual, I like your idea better, Sylvia.

i'll take the blame

I left Jeff a comment and told him the login info.

Then I sent this to Dan

Quote:
Dan,

I'm one of the group trying to help Jeff and You. Jeff is/was becoming suspicious, wondering why we could get into the /hide directory and won't give him the login info as we have done in the past.

Well, I'm letting you know now, I gave Jeff that info because we need to keep him trusting us. However, I'm not sure yet how much we can trust you. But, at this moment we have no other option but to go along with what you want.

So, if you don't want Jeff to see what's in the /hide directory, I'd suggest you replace it with info you don't care for him to see. Second if you want to continue working with us online instead of email, then you need to setup another directory for us. But this time don't be so stupid to post on your website any puzzle/s to the new directory or to it's login info, for Jeff will only become suspicious again.

Helping you in order to help Jeff

Sylvia

So, if everything gets all messed up, it's entirely my fault.

So we're being completely loyal to Jeff then...

I thought about it... and it doesn't seem like a bad idea..... When picking sides, i'd say pick the side that's loyal to you. And Dan hasn't really been telling us everything...

Well, either we lie to Jeff, or we tell him the complete truth. And since we already told him part of it, I'm guessing we go ahead and tell him everything. So someone should tell him to go to the cemetery, but act like he doesn't know a thing.

Edit:when i posted this i hadn't seen sylvia's last post, we posted almost at the same time I guess.

I'm back, and bullerman.net/hide just changed!

I'm back! I will be online all weekend to. Anyways, I just went to bullerman,net/hide, it's completely changed. There is only 1 sentence on the page, but lots of code, which I'm going through now. Edit: Scroll way down to the bottom of the page, there is a DNA sequence on the bottom. I think this means whoever runs bullerman.net does some kind of DNA testing?

We are not picking sides. We are only working with Dan in order to Save Jeff.

So, it has come to this. I need your help. Though I do not know you, I know you know your way around ciphers and finding information.

I am not getting what I want from Jeff. You must not speak of this to Jeff. I understand that in order for you to help me,

I will have to help you.
You have 3 questions and ONLY 3 questions. If you can not help me, I will have to end this. I will show you the truth.

second message from Dan wrote:
Jeff is sinking deeper into psychosis. He no longer has the ability to discern this world from the other. The line between reality and the dark matter of this reality has been erased for him. The things Jeff sees are real, though it is not natural for him or any of us to interact with them. 1

Jeff is the reason, Steve before him and countless others before him. Jeff is only the latest link in our push for success. I suppose I can tell you that Jeff works for me as part of the JASON advisory group. He is still employed by us although he no longer seems to realize that. I only tell you this now because there are only two paths this can follow. Either Jeff succeeds and it will not matter that you know, or Jeff follows Steve into the dark; as will you and anyone else who has watched.

You cannot stop this from happening, it is already happening. There is no way to reverse it, you can only help him finish. Jeff was stupid to bring you in and it will weigh heavy on my conscience, but these things are sometimes unavoidable. Help Jeff control the dark matter 2 and he can resume life as everyone else will, although life as we know it will change for all. If Jeff fails – if you fail, you will be cast aside like all those before him as someone who's lost their grip. It is my belief that Jeff can no longer process this information. Telling him will only increase your chance for failure. 3 But it is your life on the line now, do with it what you wish.

I will be contacting you soon with my request. If you do not comply, This will end.

Dan Bullerman

1 Jeff's new friend could be something from the dark matter.
2 We have to help Jeff control the dark matter.
3 Yet, being blunt about it would not be a wise idea, so we let Dan help us to help Jeff and hopefully we will, with time, help Jeff to control, understand, etc. the dark matter.
third message from Dan wrote:

Dan Bullerman

So, when Dan contacts us with the time, we will then need to get Jeff to meet him at the cemetery.

Just a though

The title of the page says "need the answer", i think he wants us to anylize the DNA nucleotide sequence for something, like a mutation, or something along that nature.

I think that is in response to the email I sent him. (see my post above)

So I think this is just stuff to throw Jeff off. I don't think it's anything we need to solve, but I could be wrong.

Hmm...strange...I can only see the words on the page and not the code. Wonder why that is?
