[TRIVIA] Interesting (but probably unimportant) find!

I've gone frame-by-frame through both trailers now, but I couldn't recognize any other pictures. Some are actually fairly distinguishable (unlike the one above, I have no idea how I caught that) but I don't recognize anyone in any of the others.

I also noticed one other thing that I'm not sure has been pointed out in the trailer (not the teaser). In the part where we get a glimpse of the monster between two skyscrapers, there is some graffiti on a building to the right that says "THE TEXT". Anyone know if this has any significance?

Very sharp eye there. I'd noticed the fact that the "We'll miss you Rob" banner is made up of face shots (readily visible in the 1080p teaser). This is the first evidence other than the characters themselves to tie the teaser to the MySpace pages. Of course, we didn't know the full names of the characters to find them based on the teaser alone, the 1-18-08.com site did that for us. I had debated taking a closer look at those pics in the banner, but lacking a 30" Cinema display it's not a lot of use to try to work with such large resolution stuff at it's full size.

Here's a screenshot of "THE TEXT" in case anyone else is curious.

I don't know what importance such a vague phrase could mean, but it seems like it was put in a spot people would go back to watch frame-by-frame (the glimpse of the monster between two skyscrapers). I'm probably reading in to things too much, but maybe there is some significance to this?

What you are seeing is a partial view of "The Textile". There's already a whole thread about it, and mentions in at least one other thread.
It's just a sign on a building.

Wow! What a keen eye! I'm impressed.

As far as the importance of the find goes, I think it's debateable. It may be nothing, but IMHO I think it's important to pay close attention to anything regarding Marlena, especially since she's been practically confirmed as the person mutating in the second trailer.

Who is that guy? It can't be Teddy, can it?
