[SPEC] Who would be chosen to design the monster?

Do you all think we can find any clues to what the monster may look like by looking into who in hollywood makes monsters for movies?

I found this on Stan Winston's studio website http://www.stanwinstonstudio.com

I also found something listed as in production called "little town, big lizard" on his http://www.stanwinstonproductions.com website.

May be nothing but worth a try to look right?

that pic is not bad. i think it will be green (because of that screencap we got) but it looked also like it was walking on two legs.

I know some people would want to kill me for it, but I think itd be cool if Todd Mcfarlane designed the monster. Going back to his days with Spawn, he has made some nasty looking creatures.

Even though I didnt read any Spawn comics... ive seen some of McFarlane's work... and that would be freakin awesome if he was involved...

Completely off topic but I love playing as Spawn in SoulCaliber 2, specially with his Abomination axe... Twisted Evil

From Aint it Cool News---

I was at ADAPT2007 in Montreal today (a fair where high-profile people come and speak about their work on movies, games and television) and Phil Tippett's (from Star Wars, Starship Troppers and Robocop fame to name a few) Tippet Studios are working on a very big hush-hush project with J.J. Abrams which he wouldn't name.

Since he mostly does creatures, could it be something for that untitled JJ movie coming soon? Considering Tippett's track record for creature design and animation, I think we'll be in for a treat!

so maybe we should start looking at this guys work- Phil Tippet

where did you find the image you have associated with the stan winston "small town, big lizard"? I cant find that image referenced by it anywhere, heck I cant even find the production listed anywhere outside Stan Winston's website!

It's under "in development", not "in production"

Hi everyone

I'm new to the forum. I've been reading what you've all posted and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one going crazy over this film and what it may be in the end. Anyway, that picture that was posted above...where did it come from? Tone of the skin looks similar.

The above picture is a design sculpture of the creature from "The Relic".
