I'm from England as well, so I have to wait for february
Of course, I wont actually wait. I'll watch it illegally over the internet when it first comes out, then see it in the cinema for full scarenosity I'm just that impatient.
So you have to put up with me even longer! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, I won't be here from the 18th of Jan until it's released over here in the UK, I'm going to watch it for the first time on a big screen, so yeah...

I'm 100% british, and I have never so much as tasted tea in my life. I go to a coffee shop most days during free periods for a mocha and a blueberry muffin, but never tea. Damn stereotypes! I'm sorry, I seem to be using the curse icon a lot today.

I wish we stopped for tea, it'd be another excuse to have a break

If you guys really cant contain yourselves, im sure with some decent sleuthing across the internet you can find a ripped copy of the movie on one of those "sites" either before, or immediately following its release.
I was thinking that, but i dont want to ruin it with bad quality/sound etc
The bootlegged trailers were a perfect example of how much you can miss if the quality is questionable. It's like Christmas, let the anticipation be the best part.
At least it's only a month now. I remember when it was three or more. I recall people bugging the hell out of me because I saw Gremlins on a trip back to the States when it came out, and the kids back overseas itching to see it, and jealous that I had.

Im really hoping that if they do continue the 'ARG/ARE' they do it a few months after the realise, that will give us all some time to watch the movie so we dont miss out.
After all, im pretty much going for an internet blackout for a month after 18th January, on the off chance i see a spoiler somewhere. Its gonna be hard, but this is one movie I will see in a movie, and I want everything to be a complete suprise.

I agree, and with a movie like this, being mostly at night (im guessing) and being mostly handheld (again, im guessing), it would be very hard to make anything out at all

well, if the writers strike continues, or JJ's secrecy of this movie continues to the day it comes out, that'd save from seeing clips on the nightly talk shows and hearing them talk about it

Me too (apart from the Cornish bit, and the Romany). And I love a nice cup of tea with hot buttered crumpets. Though sometimes gin's better. Gin's good with anything.
Anyway, isn't this getting a little away from the topic. What is the topic?

Yeh, a load of my friends drink tea, but whenever someone offers me a cup, I feel I have to say no, or I'm feeding the stereotypes. That sounds ridiculous, but I am very averse to stereotypes. I mean, most of you guys are americans, and you're not morbidly obese, hamburger-chowing dumbasses with no dress sense. And my best friend is muslim, and she is loads of fun, and doesn't blow anything up. I rest my case.
Also, Denmark gets Cloverfield before us?
