I usually don't get a chance to watch the movies when they preview them, but this time I'm willing to sacrifice my sleep.

I refuse to meet someone if they say "Omg there's ganu he's just like he was on tagruato. PMG he's like fucking awsome and beat those cause guys who by the way hacked his site but not slusho, kinda a coincidence eh?" or makes other obvious statement throughout the movie.

I will only meet with someone who shouts at the theatre, upon seeing the monster, "FFS IT'S A LION".

I was hoping this idea would get brought up again, even though this thread is fundamentally a trout. (Yes, there's already a thread about this.)

At any rate, I think those that are willing and have already publicly disclosed their location should act as coordinators for the meetups. Some major cities will be easy to handle, and in the more expansive parts of the US we might want to meet roughly by state. Those that meet the 'organizer' criteria I mentioned, please Declare yourselves in this thread so we can get the plans going. Ticket purchases can be made at least 2 weeks in advance of most any showing, and often 30 days in advance - so our time is coming SOON!

i live in myrtle beach sc. we have a huge stadium theatre with crazy sound so i would love to meet up with some of the people off here and have a cloverfield party but i doubt anyone near me has even a remote clue about this movie.

Euchre, I think what JookNy21 originally meant was to have a pseudo "unFiction convention" atmosphere, where everyone, regardless if you were in a major city or not, would go to NY for the premiere. The problem is, that takes time and money. Great idea, but not realistic, unfortunately.

If my theatre, with it's three screens, decides to play Cloverfield, then yeah, I'm willing to have a couple UF folks come up to see it.

It'd be in the Acton, Stow, Concord area. the theatre is in Maynard.

Whose in that area? If I have a number, I'll be better off...but with my small theatre, I might not know if I'm getting it till like....the week before. And we'd watch it on the 17th at like...nine. or whenever the last movie that night gets out. Again, this might not be doable, but I'd be able to give a yes or no answer in the week leading up to the release.
