Although I really want to, I wouldn't be able to let myself get away with wearing my Slusho! shirt. Haven't you ever seen PCU?
In the immortal words of Jeremy Piven:
"What's this? You're wearing the shirt of the band you're going to see? Don't be that guy."

Don't have one yet, but plan on getting one before the premiere. Black tee, though I wish they had long-sleeved tees - Regal tends to be chilly.

I'll see if I can get that day off from work to see. I'm willing to arrange a meet-up with people around the south Georgia area (Savannah, etc.).
When I read that I got excited because I saw Georgia. Then I saw the Savannah part... too far.
Awww. I'm sorry to hear.
Sadly, I don't see anybody here from around the Savannah area. D:

I myself shall view this film via my highly favored mind servant, in rural Western Pennsylvania.

Virginia, here - Hampton Roads, so it's not too much crazy farmland. I think this is a terrific idea. I want to see it as soon as possible- sneak preview or midnight showing. Me and my friends bonded with the Resident Evil midnight showing kids, and the Snakes on a Plane midnight showing was the most fun I've ever had in a theater. Imagine what a GOOD movie would be like!

Near Chicago, anyone else in the area? Would be cool to go with some people who knew what was up, then we can all cheer when they say Tagruato or Slusho!

wow am i the only person in utah? I have thrown up a thread looking for any random theatre worker from here that wants to sneak me into the early showing for employee's and guests only, but i think that one might die faster than jamie in the movie.
Jamie + Monster = Drunk, bladder infected toe jam.

If my theatre, with it's three screens, decides to play Cloverfield, then yeah, I'm willing to have a couple UF folks come up to see it.
It'd be in the Acton, Stow, Concord area. the theatre is in Maynard.
Whose in that area? If I have a number, I'll be better off...but with my small theatre, I might not know if I'm getting it till like....the week before. And we'd watch it on the 17th at like...nine. or whenever the last movie that night gets out. Again, this might not be doable, but I'd be able to give a yes or no answer in the week leading up to the release.
Sweet mother...you mean the Maynard Fine Arts Theater? My old stomping grounds! Well, it was until I saw The Village and swore off ever watching a movie in theaters again. I'd be plenty willing to go, as would a bunch of people from Acton/Boxboro. Actually, I should probably PM you with this stuff, but I'm too giddy to care because the flu medicine's just starting to kick in, and I'm psyched in finding a local link. Score! Now all that typing makes me feel woozy...I'd better lie down for a bit.

Yep, I work there. Again, I highly doubt we'll get it. but if we do....In response to your pm, I might be willing to have you and your two buddies. but we will see. I'd still be looking around for a theatre with a better chance of getting it. But I'm going to try my damndest to convince my boss to get it.
As far as you being my kids.....I'm only 20, so I don't see that working out...

Have stickied this thread to allow people to coordinate meets at cinemas for getting over-excited, eating too much pop-corn and blowing chunks before even the adverts are over. And seeing Cloverfield in real-life.
I've created a page on the wiki for people to add their meets to here . I've also started a page for the Liverpool, UK meet as an example here . Post below if you create a new location and give a link to the wiki page. If you want to sign-up for a meet do so at the wiki rather than here.
