[SPEC] Norwegian connection
Garbanzos - Teddy Hanson

First of all, Im not sure I made the right type of tag, but I hope so. If not I hope the moderators can help.
Secondly, I tried to search, but found nothing similar, but if this have been discussed in any of the other threads, please excuse me.

Now, for the reason I post this.

I just think its a bit odd that the mysterious restaurant Garbanzos was located in Sandefjord, Norway. (Incidentally less than a hours drive from where my parents live. And yes there's no restaurant by that name there.)
Why pick Sandefjord, Norway?

Garbanzos is another name for the chickpea, widely regarded as a very healthy food, and a staple in most vegans diet. But a strange name for a asian restaurant! I tried searching around for any norwegian pages where the term shows up, but nothing of interest.

Secondly: Teddy Hanson, Jaimes boyfriend. Now, Hanson/Hansen are orginially scandinavian surnames, and Teddy are not unknown as a nickname here, for people named Theodor or Terje.

Other possible clues:
He likes metal (Norway have a strong metal scene, and more or less invented modern black metal, many believe that's all we listen to. Razz)

The organisation begind TIDOwave is french, i.e. european, if he works with them.

Norway is a oilproducing country, and norwegian firms operate drilling rigs all over the world. If you look for a deep sea drilling engineer, a norwegian might easily fit the bill.

Just some thoughts, not sure how that fits in with everything else though.

But what really leaves me non-plussed is the name for the restaurant, it seems TO random...

Uh, about that spelling...
If you take into account the name shown as Hanssen, does the Norwegian origin still apply?

Yes. I've tried looking for him too, I thought the Glass Helmets might be the English name of a Norwegian band but can't find any band with that name in Norwegian.

Didn't look for Terje Hanssen though, I will now.

Edit:

Whoa, this was creepy, second result for that name.

It's probably OOG but, you'll see what I mean:

Yeah, the Hanssen spelling is less common than Hansen, but more so than Hanson (-son, being the swedish form).

I think based on what I learnt in school "-son" ending originally comes from Iceland and if it had been a girl it should be "Hansdottir" or something.

EDIT:
Here it's explained:

Just struck me that the common norwegian christian name Bjørn litterally means "Bear"...

But Bjørn Hanssen is to common a name to google for anything worthwhile.

remember that we still have a youtube account under his name ( which so far has more chances to be IG than OOG ) which says he comes from Iceland...
