YES! *pumps fist in air*

I was bummed that I couldn't get in. Now I can!

I am way too into Torchwood right now...

~~~~~~~
I figured out how to join.
Use the UK based proxy or just go to the Torchwood website.
Then go to Jobs and it says:
Just don't expect the proxy to last. The BBC do a regular update of proxies to ban access with them. Due to the 'unique way the BBC funded' they have to do that with a lot of stuff. I don't know why they don't let you subscribe and raise money that way outside of the UK.
OK, I have a plan. When that proxy goes down, the next one somebody finds - just PM the people in this thread. Don't post it.
Gosh - don't apologize! I probably would have done the same. My post was just planning for the future.
Thank goodness for proxies. Surprised
I absolutely must play this game. Or watch it, anyway.
Is it at all possible to join with a proxy, or will I just have to be content to play without an account? (Because I went through the registration till the end, when the site told me there was an error.)
I tried accessing the premission video through the proxie (which still works, yay!) but the swf just shows the non-uk notice, any tips?
I wasn't able to sign up using the proxy. It kept failing part of the way through registration. No errors, I just couldn't get beyond step 2 of 4 (agreeing to the terms of service). Switching to the text-only version, without the proxy, got me through the form until a "technical problem" at the end. I'm assuming it's a scripting problem.
Has anyone else experienced problems accessing the main website? It worked properly in IE7, but when I used IE6 or Firefox it loads fully and then the main graphic disappears (as well as the two links at the bottom of it, the sign up link and another that I can't remember because I can't see it).
That's kind of odd...I usually just have the links on a white background but yesturday everything was working normally. I could see everything as if I lived in the UK.
