Random camera in my DJ bag... Edi Franco - electro DJ based in the UK. I got back to the hotel from a gig the other night and found a camera in my DJ bag. I'd really like to get this back to whoever it belongs to ... probably the random in the pics (nice). I've put them up on flickr. Your crew looks sorted - thought I'd throw it over to you.

This is also a pretty neat resource to reunite cameras with their owners: http://ifoundyourcamera.blogspot.com/

Each of the comments on each photo is identical, and ends with this:
"So often, I try to think this: Jest and mirth establish something nicer in certain entities, despite another's years."
Everything after the colon abbreviates to:
"James nice day."
This has to be intentional given how awkward the phrasing is. Wonder if it leads to anything?

Well... DUH!
Give 'em a break... they're trying to get the ball rolling. Humor them.
I'm a work, so I can't pursue this as much as I should.

I think you need to read the TOS for the site, and the main rule for UnForums. Then get back at me.

Oh I'm well aware of the ToS. You can't imagine how many times I wanted to jump in to the LGL thread and scream "I didn't mean that, stupid!"
But although I personally accept that there should be a little leeway in getting an ARG off the ground, you're right I guess.

Actually it is acceptable for a PM to start a thread to bring people into their game, but never ever acceptable to post thereafter.
EDIT to add link to relevant topic:

That is exactly what has happened here, alisdair, if you'd just read ^^^. Anyway, to get back on the topic, I've looked at the photos, and just don't get why a person who "found" a camera, would put a hidden message in the caption to the uploaded photos. (and then post twice about it in a public forum). It just doesn't add up. Good luck with this one PM.

Found a James Niceday on myspace. Seems to be a DJ too and from the UK. Not looked at it yet, I have to run out the front door, have at it though! Maybe take a closer look at the MP3? There's some speech in there.h

I suspect it's just a plug for this Niceday guy. Damn. I was hoping for fun.

The song on the MySpace page, "mr. helicopter", is weird as hell.
And there's something screwy with this page. Blogs and pictures aren't links, and the only friend he has generates a MySpace page error when clicked on.
And if it's a plug for him and his music, why does his MySpace page have like ZERO information?

Back and happy to dive in this one I'm pretty sure it's not a music plug, I mean, if he's a real DJ from the UK based on myspace he'd have a zillion friends and definitely more music and info about himself. There's just one track and it specifically says to check it out, which I will do when I have the chance.
For a start, I dropped him a mail asking if he knew the girl in the photos.
Edit to add: I checked the photos for stegged info - nothing.
