But I see your point, Ivo. I do think there is significance to little details, because that's how JJ works, but I think we've got enough speculation archived in the past 18 pages for future reference.
Lets get down to interpreting the meaning of the commercial. What does the door of light symbolize? Who is the gloved hand? What does the moose symbolize? What do the changes of scenery reflect? Why is there a chimp with a cheese flag? Why do clichés such as "Don't wait for opportunity to come knocking on your door" give him the strength to rip to door off it's hinges? Why does he walk away from the door?
I'll start off: The cartoon boy on his stomach represents his inner youth; after drinking Slusho!, he feels like a kid again, and has all the strength that he had when he was a kid.

Which allows him to remove the door that is holding the fun and happy memories of his youth back and the "room" then fills with a sort of fantasy world and memories from his youth?

You can see it better here.

Hm. Interesting. There's definitely a transformation going on here. He starts out in a dull, almost empty room, bored. He ends in a room full of childish excitement. But, there's still the framed picture... a remnant of his adult life?

I did a bit of reading up on moose as a power animal, most of the websites I read said that the moose helps with self esteem, which meshes with the concept of the Carpe Diem like sayings.

ahh, didn't notice it had that on it in that photo, from the commercial it looked different...

and i have a problem with the Kid = strength thing, when i think of kid i think of an 11 year old, but people usually don't have a lot of strength, specially to pull a door off the hinges, till they are almost out of the teens

kids usually have more hope and are more optimistic then adults, and he probably ran away from the door after opening it cause he didn't want to go back to his adult life and wanted to enjoy the moose a little longer...

I found that too, chucklehead. Take this, for example:

MOOSE - helps us with self-esteem. It is also about the magic of life and death. Moose represents expressing the joy of accomplishment, not to boast or seek recognition, but in a spirit of sharing, born of the understanding that joy is contagious. It is about learning to explore new depths of awareness within self and your environment.

Which also points towards him turning away from the glowing door. The part that made me wonder about though is the "wall of fire" that sweeps past the celebrators just before the end of the commercial.

Maybe its not a physical strength they're talking about... don't know exactly where where I'm going with that. Also, I'm not sure that the door goes back to his adulthood. In fact, he never goes through the door; the transformation on happens once he tears the door off.

Very interesting! Actually, the mouth of the cartoon boy is the man's navel. Feeding of the youth = feeding of child by his mother through umbilical cord.

Moose as father part? Or perhaps it's uberinterpretation?

That's fantastic! This is the kind of conversation we should be having on here. That comment, sir, is deep.

There's still one thing that bugs me; the gloved hand that slams the door. Who is that?

To stretch it just a little farther. A baby in the womb feeding off the mom could be considered a PARASITE. A baby would also burst out, sort of.

Also, I agree with Plebius20. I think she is tryng to nail that picture to the ?wall? Maybe the picture is really important. Like hitting the nail on the head. lol I kill me.
