Can you say 'Looking to much into it?'

Eh, I suppose it's expected. It always is.

Divine entity? Or perhaps "IT"?

Well, if we look at the things like Freud, there are

super-ego => ratio, cultural self-understanding, experiences

ego => the instance between super-ego and id

id => natural drive, libido, etc.

so if I can see it in the right way, ego = the man in the room = is driven by his natural drives (behind he door)

The Moose - as super-ego - gives him strong advice, but helps to reach the adored wishes behind-the-door. And - look - after drinking slusho, ego doesn't repress the primitive drives, like it does at "normal" situation.

It does mean, Slusho! is like a liberator from its own moral chains. Super-ego aka Moose does play doubtful role of "allower".

Hm...

I'm gonna transcribe the commercial to the best of my ability. Whats the correct terminology for the lady on the left with the makeup? it's not geisha, is it?

I think that this woman is Kabuki actually. Mainly because in Kabuki Theatre they pull alot of the same faces she does in the commercial. I forget what it is called, but in Kabuki it is very important to set the eyes and mouth right to emote. Geishas are specialists in being demure and ladylike and would NEVER pull these sort of faces. Not that this REALLY matters I am sure, but just in case this is the ONE clue that will lead us to the next thing I wanted to give my two cents.

Hahah! I totally thought you were making fun of me in some new manner I didn't understand.

I owe you an apology.

I think the fact that they're only letting Americans enter the contest doesn't mean that the arg guys messed up, it means Slusho! is planning to release their product in America. The commercial on Slusho.jp might just be an example of the japanese commercial.

My observations/questions:

After salary man discovers his inner child in his lower gi tract, he gets all mischievous like a little boy. He then proceeds to act like a monster with enough power to rip off the door of opportunity.
Notice the closeup of salary man's hands just before he grabs the door, perhaps a reference to Tagruato's "hand/s of power" translation and logo/symbol?

The white glove that shuts the door at the beginning is the hand of the authority figure. Look at photos of Japanese policemen and soldiers: wearing white gloves, aren't they?

SLUSHO! transports him from his office, into space, then on to a cloverfield, lastly under the ocean. When the door is finally open we see the sea filling up the frame.

The choice of a bull moose is perplexing, perphaps the commercial's director thought he/she would appeal to both Canada and America with one animal. Would an American director chosen a bull or a bear?

The floating heads suggest Japanese deities or the spirits who inhabit inanimate objects.

The woman in the green scuba gear wants to hang the picture up but can't find a solid immobile wall to hammer in the nail.

The flag waving chimp at the end is a playful reference to the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. I think the flag is a welcoming flag for our giant mouse overlords...

I like this train of thought with all the symbolism...but what direction is this supposed to point us in? Slusho "liberates" people, but it also liberates something else? Something inside of people (not literally like the expanding lady) that isnt so happy and innocent?

Just one question,
Why is this guy wearing sandals and socks?

Look for yourself if you do not believe me!

I really think the monkey thing is just a joke. Should we analyze it at all?

I think we should still look at it. The monkey might symbolize something still.
