Just got a new e-mail from humanresourcesSPLATwhysoserious.com

So tomorrow it is...and I'm imagining that word is rotted since it's a "shifty" step.

My first thought was ROT as well, but...

I really liked this puzzle. One I actually managed to figure out for myself!

The new link is:

Timer runs out at 9a for me.

G'night all.

Same here. I'm guessing it won't be erased from the world if we're not there at the exact time it goes off, right? 'Cause I'm not gonna be able to access a computer due to that joyous activity called classes. Mad

Alright, so, exactly what is up with the monkey? And what could this possibly be? Hmmm...

Good question, Watson. Let us deduce. lol Hm... Well, I got nothin. But I'm wondering whatever happened to the clue: "watch the funny papers". Do you think that this is related to that? And yeah, the monkey is random. Maybe that's the point?

About /steprightup, you can reset your clock to a minute before the proper time (for me, 11:00 AM tomorrow) and it will go ahead and run down to zero like with the safe. However, it doesn't really make any difference, as it doesn't do anything. Looks like we'll really have to be here noon Gotham time.

The only thing that's really bugging me is that with the Joker's little 'tests', it's never that straightforward. We always think it's one thing and then it's another. Ah, well. Tomorrow, I guess.

Is it me or do we have a few trails with dead ends? What does the monkey have to do with anything? Did we miss something? Did we mess something up and this was their way out of it? I'm confused as to what is going on. Can we get an inventory on things that are unresolved? Maybe we can figure out what was originally planned and in turn maybe find something new.

I don't know, but the first thing I thought of was a carnival where they yell "step right up" and give out a stuffed monkey for a prize. Maybe something lethal inside the monkey.

Am I seeing things?

I'm seeing a letter "L" to the left of the monkey's right hand and what I think is a lower case "L" or maybe an "I" to the right of the left foot. Anyone else see that?

I thought it was dust when I first saw it. But your right there is definitely something there. Don't know what it could mean though...

Seeyouindecember.com , mayhaps?

It's still empty, though
