 		[SPEC] Random monster thought
Where DID it come from (besides Russia)
OK, there's a couple threads about the origin of the thing, and whether it was a gift like the SOL, or on a drunken rampage from Russia. But I had a wild idea about it and wanted to bounce it off you guys.

So we (sort of) think that maybe the monster was "awakened" by the deep-sea drilling. Or maybe the monster was a normal deep-sea animal that mutated into grumpypants by drinking or absorbing Slusho.

But what if the monster was intentionally created by Tagruato?
What if the monster is their new and improved version of deep-sea drilling?
Wasn't there something on Tagruato about how thier whole gig was based on a "new and previously unheard of" way to process deep-sea ores?

I know, I know, it's early and we're running out of interesting ideas to kick around, but waht do you think?

Of course, if this is true, the logical extension of the idea is that Tagruato has a monster at every site. Maybe since Chuai (sp?) is the biggest site, they had the biggest monster? Maybe all the other sites are able to "contain" their monsters, but this is the big one that got away? Rolling Eyes

Sorry 11808fan, but although Patrick is being a little brutal in his application he is right - we already have way too many threads of speculation about the monster that could've been in the same thread or very few threads at very least.

Yea don't feel bad. I was hit with the damn thing twice in a LOST forum and then had the pleasure of seeing Euchre introduce the link in this forum.
