The only believable thing about this review is that Rob's Awesome girl.

Anyways, if Rob and Beth run to that overpass/bridge/tunnel thingy after the copter's go down, and then Rob says "about 7 hours ago something attacked the city" blah blah, why would it take 5-6 hours for the helicopters to come and try to rescue the "survivors" it makes no sense.

And as I posted earlier, this review makes it seem as if it could fit into a 1 hour TV episode.

Plus the city also seems completely deserted when they see the Time Warner Centre, so where would all these survivors come from so long afterwards?

If everything you have said is true, I expect that in a few days you will be sued for all your worth by Paramount, so well done whistleblower. But it's most likely not true, so everyone thinks your an idiot. Either way, you lose. Though I did quite enjoy reading about Jamie's death. Twisted Evil

OK, whistle blower, I'm calling you out...

WHERE did you see this movie? What was the name of the theater or, if it was in some other non-theater location, what were the facilities like? Did you drive there, or were you taken there?

On what day did you see it? If you're daring enough, at what time? Was it in the day, afternoon or evening? What was the weather like?

What studio representatives were there? I mean, somebody had to introduce themselves, or perhaps ask you for feedback on the movie afterwards, no? If they didn't ask for feedback, what was the purpose of showing the movie in the first place? Did they say anything about the movie prior to it starting?

If you're worried about Paramount information, the above shouldn't be enough to incriminate you. I mean, after all, you weren't the only one to watch it... or were you?

Also, why take down Euchre for doing what all of us should be doing? Unfiction is one of the best sources for Cloverfield right now for a reason: we check our facts, and we don't brush aside illogicalities just because we like what we see of the big picture. We have to go by a scientific and logical process, from the smallest details up to said big picture. If the details don't make sense (sound pollution deformities? Marlena dead? Slusho! is Anthrax?), then we must also reject the entire summary. You can't make a good house out of rotten wood.

Very well said.

It's what makes this board so much more than imdb or any other other forum out there. It's the reason why I almost exclusively only come here for info.

I did not read the "review" because, while I want as much back story as possible, I do NOT want a spoiler of the entire film... so I can't chime in with my opinion of whether it was BS or not.

I'm glad I didn't read it though.

In case no one noticed, the OP mysteriously deleted the text of the post a minute after this posted, leaving a small Removed in its place. If there is suddenly a claim that this was removed by the mods from a request by Paramount or some such, then you can immediately write it off as BS.

Hah!

I had noticed it had been removed by the OP. I had not noticed the timing.

Good eye.

The mods here always tag a post with their sig when they modify it. No mods touched this one.

Aha, i see he's pulling a old Thingy.wav.

Removing it and making it look real by making it small and ittalic'ed.

That'd be my guess.

Haha, it's a shame nobody quoted the full post, I'd like to see him try and remove that.
