The movie Ghost Ship took forever to get a rating all those years ago

it took forever to categorize the opening scenes??.... i've only seen the opening to it and i still have it my memory...awesome tho
dont waste your time watching the rest Rolling Eyes

if its not rated R this movie will fail. it would have to be like the new godzilla to be pg-13.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. If it's not R, then how bad is it really going to be?

Besides, I don't want to be sitting around with a bunch of annoying mall-stomping teens.

I can confirmed through secret sources that at some point HUD says (and I qoute) "Jesus-tittyfucking-Christ", which leads me to believe it's going to be R.

JAWS was rated PG. That was in 1975.

Nowadays JAWS would probably be rated PG-13

Yep your right! What a great movie!! I guess it was rated PG because it was mostly suspense and not gore. I doubt we will see this movie rate something lower than PG...or maybe not. We may not see any more gore than bleeding claw marks...

Lady: "Look it's a giant kitty monster! He's destroy our city!"
Monster: "I just want to be loved!"
Military: "Here that men? He wants to be loved!"
-everyone breaks out in song-

Rating For Cloverfield on website

I just checked out www.cloverfieldmovie.com and it has on the bottom that the rating is PG-13 for violence, disturbing images, and terror. Just thought I would mention that.
