Probably. I think it might be significant in the symbolic sense, but it probably won't be a major plot point.

 		i really doubt they were going for the whole jew thing when casting the actress. blonde hair...light eyes. i mean im jewish and that is not the typical jewish look. lascano...prob italian.

And no, we didnt make Jamie Jewish. The New Moon thing is more important more to Wiccans than Jews (although its still important).

And blonde hair/blue eyes is more Italian?
ANYONE of any geographical location can be a Jew, Italians have heritage in Italy.

Not that I'm arguing either side, I think it's stupid and pointless.

i'm guessing its kinda like black ppl sayin the n word... so im guessing its cool... american culture is pretty strange so dont take my word for it Very Happy

Nah... she's Italian, no doubt about it. Since I'm Italian I'll say that most Italian women who live in New York are almost as annoying.

 		Since when does having a Jewish last name mean you adhere to the Jewish religion? Not all Jews follow the Hebrew Bible, and not everyone who claims Judaism has a Jewish last name.

I'm thinking Jamie will open her present when they're ready to give us a new clue from that direction. So ... really, what are you people basing your speculation on? This is a game - don't forget that.

true. but what im saying is in movie land they try to make it as easy for the viewer as possible to associate people. in life its beyond true that blondes can be jewish but people wouldnt get it as fast that way i think. also i just think that her last name shows shes italian not the look thing. its a pretty darn italian name
