[TROUT] [SPEC] blurred head?
something I noticed.

I was watching the new trailer on youtube (because thee apple site doesn't work for me) and I saw something that I hadn't noticed before, when the soldier says "there's nothing you can do" his head looks intentionally blurred, like on TV when they want to protect someone's identity. it might be something that happened when the trailer was put on youtube, but I checked 2 different postings of the trailer and it was in both of them.

might be something, might be nothing, might have been discussed before but if it was when I searched I didn't find it.

so, what do you think?

Please, please, PLEASE use the search function next time.

People think that his name is important due to the fact that his head was blurred, but his name tag wasn't.

I was unaware that putting in my search term and hitting search was the wrong way.

It's painfully clear I must write a tutorial on Search, today.

Thank you Her for posting that link, and here's one slightly older:
[urlhttp://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22081[/url]

Rather than go on an argument-fest about the trouted topic, go dig up the other threads, post them in said trout thread, and then continue the speculations there.

Of course, lastly:
Play Nice!

Hmm I must confess there are a few forumpolicemen here who seems to revel in the ability to put someone down for not searching, even when a search is clearly stated as having been preformed.

Most forums I frequent frown upon wanton forum necromancy, and even though you search for seamingly obvious keywords, you can miss previous threads.

Why the hostility? Things like that only drives people away, which nobody wants. Smile

Pointless bitching earns members "stripes" by increasing a their post counter. The overzealous effort to promote the search feature is pointless and is overused as much as the search function -- all-powerful as it -- is underused.

Search isn't all that difficult. All I did was search "soldier".

Besides, there are only 23 pages of topics here and they can be scanned quickly. Of course tagging threads helps alot, unfortunately not everyone does that.

The same can be said for pointless, quasi-intellectual posts.
