ENIGMA is a cipher system from the early 20th century, most notably used by the German military during World War 2.

You might want to read the Wikipedia article on the ENIGMA machine to get an idea of just how complex the system is.

Also, Dirk Rijmenants created a software program that simulates both the M3 (3-rotor) and M4 (4-rotor) variants of the ENIGMA machine.

OMG...he totally cheated...but I guess we should have expected that...AARRGGHH...I bet they didn't even try to solve it...after we put so much meaning into the whole thing...next time we definitely have to be more explicit with our instructions!!

I think we should politely advise Falthis that this was a nice try. But, we didn't just fall off the turnip truck and that he still has a few hours to provide the correct answer.

I see it as an attempt at getting us to share with him the correct solution so that he can then resubmit that as his "final answer".

If he persists in saying that he has met our challenge, we should stand our ground about it being incorrect and tell him, "You ARE the weakest link."

We should NOT discuss the correct answer, anywhere, till after the deadline has elapsed.

Technically, he did unscramble...however he bypassed one thing.

Technically Ah and Methinks are not the queens english, not recognized by the dictionary right next to me. methinks we could exploit this but i rather not. he ligitly followed the rules, yno except for the word part.
