[SPEC] The monster
origins

This may be my last post. I no longer want to explain why I am here since my last two threads have been considered trolling. Also, as a response to a poster on my last thread...
if you do not know what I mean when I say the monster "crash landed", and if you think I mean in a spaceship, you must be very young.

Now if you want to learn about the monster, I suggest watching Transformers. Yes Transformers. The monster has an origin almost like Megatron. Think about it...
1. Sea Bed Nectar must be kept in its frozen state. The transformers' weakness was being cold, and thats how Megatron was kept from going on a rampage.
2. Its an alien, and it was trapped in its frozen state. Similar to Megatron.

On to the monsters appearance, it almost looks like "Zilla".

Finally, on to its real origin.
Look at TIDOWave's main purpose about mother nature and humanity.
Substitute TIDOWAve and Tagruato for humanity and the monster as mother nature.

Try and find more evidence to back up your alien theory. It's all very reasonable if you find more evidence to support the first point; that the creature is an alien.

The monster has some means of transportation through space(think Cthulhu). It crash lands on Earth where the future station is going to be build. It is very cold here and its trapped in its frozen state. Billions of years later, Tagruato finds the monster but hides it(like the American Government would do if they found aliens). Tagruato's CEO is Ganu Yoshido who now owns slusho. All he wants to do is study the monster and see if it can help slusho. Which something in it s skin is the secret source of a slusho drink. TIDOWave a simple hippie group, thinks it should be used to help the good of mankind. Meanwhile both companies are disturbing the monsters slumber and keeping the whole thing secret from the rest of the world. It somehow awakens and is horribly mad, going on a rampage across the world. Of course there is more to the story, and I can assure you this ARG will go on after the movie.

It isn't our intention to make you feel unwelcome by tagging your posts as [TROLL]. The tag is to indicate to other users the nature of the post. you claimed to have been personally asked to give out clues to the plot from J J Abrams which you must admit is inconsistent with a game which consists solely of giving out clues and background around the plot. Wouldn't Abrams, having created this campaign, use it as the medium for all clue delivery? It's a waste of good clue to get someone to post them on a forum for him and not terribly stylish.

However, your spec here is as sound and welcome as any other speculation, it would have been preferable if you'd added to an existing monster speculation thread, but that's just my tidiness disorder speaking Wink.

But the crash landed aliens aren't original. You mentioned Transformers, there is also War of the Worlds, The Thing, Them, Invaders from Mars (the original) and many, many more. Not to mention the X-Files.

I've always favored the space alien angle. I don't think anything that big could evolve on Earth and walk on land. As said many times before it wouldn't be able to walk without collapsing under it's own mass... unless it evolved in an environment with a higher gravity, so that Earth's gravity is like bounching through water to it.

The mere fact that Slusho! has little to nothing to do with the PLOT of the film completely dis-credits everything you have posted. I'm not saying Slusho! is meaningless, but it is not a part of the plot according to multiple new sources.

Spec is great but I'm sure many are happy this was your last post since you falsely present everything as fact.

Well, if he can assure us.
For god's sake, his username doesn't fit on one line. Look at it.

Everything in the viral campaign so far points strongly to the topics of environmental awareness, corporate irresponsibility, and some sense of megalomania. There is an underlying hint of conspiracy too. There is not, however, any strength of evidence pointing to aliens, Cthulhu, or any form of mecha, cyborg, or robot. JJ Abrams himself made it pretty clear this isn't Transformers rehashed, it isn't Godzilla and by implication NOTHING from the Toho universe, it's not King Kong, it's not Voltron, not Cthulhu...

It's an idea hatched by JJ Abrams, very much in the context of this time and society.
