I voted for executed, although I'm not keen on the term, as he could just have been locked in a cupboard or thrown into the sea or whatever.
I don't think he'd be tortured, as he might not have any information useful to them, unless they have their own spy service or private militia.

Yea, the actual choices are supposed to be exactly what happened, but more of "along the lines" type of stuff...
ie
Is he just simply captured/not killed = Option 1
Is he really "cheating" on Jamie = Option 2
Was he captured and killed = Option 3
Is he alive and well, and its all a prank to piss off Jamie = Option 4
The details are open for discussion as well...

How dare he get captured and tortured and killed! Doesn't he *care* that he has a girlfriend he hasn't spoken to in a month!? Sheesh.
[edit] The least he could have done was send jewelry, not a cry of help! What a selfish prick!

He certainly isn't doing well, where ever he is.

I'm thinking the 'Death of a Tagruato Employee' has something to do with him.

That was the first thing I thought of. And that Randy/Randi is the "whistleblower"

No, I take what I said back.
I'm pretty sure Teddy is the whistleblower. Randy is the one who posts stuff on TIDOwave.

the death of an employee was that scientist as mentioned on TIDOwave
right?
edit:
and I agree with other saying that the whistle blower is someone foreign to the united states (ie Japan) simply because of the way it says "american"
so, if Randy is French or Japanese, then it'd make sense for him to put "American"...
it doesnt make sense for Teddy to write like that...

Alot of foreign or overseas companies do have private security firms, often made up of mercenaries, so in a way you could consider it a private militia. Case in point - Dole fruit company employs a mercenary force in Columbia to protect the banana harvesters from the violence perpetrated by the drug gangs down there., and alot of the oil companies in Nigeria and other parts of Africa use private armies to protect from muslim extremists

I said he's alive until Jamie finds him. If my boyfriend or girlfriend gave me a tape saying the stuff that Teddy said I would be like "You little piece of shyt" and track him or her down.

Maybe two new options:
#5) Teddy actually *becomes* Da Monstah (suggested above....that would 'splain why he/it goes to NY --- looking for that dumb broad Jamie)
#6) Teddy is LITERALLY fish food (somewhat suggested above) -- i.e., he and his whale-huggin' buddies are eaten by Da Monstah
