I don't know...If I went to prison I'd think a "warm towel" would be something to avoid bringing, inmates would only want to cuddle up to you.

based on how the slusho commercial was speculated to imply we were missing something 'before our eyes' is the survival kit list maybe meant to be applied to some existing info to figure out what no one is picking up on?

Why do we think this is a puzzle? I am not following the thread here.
on Tidowave one of the latest posts by randy has some wierd punctuation. The first in a list of items needed in his "survival kit" is a warm towel. But it has quotation marks around it even though none of the other words do. Number 6 on the list is Swiss Army Knife, which is underlined like it was a hyperlink but it isn't a link.
EDIT: typing/spelling errors
Honestly, the only thing thats odd to me is the quotation...
Swiss Army Knife being an empty link is simply Yahoo's annoying ad system (using keywords in the context, similar to what Live Search does)
I sometimes get them in my eMail when using the new Yahoo Mail interface...
I really believe its just an accident (probably updating the blog via email)
idk if anyone has disproved that theory yet (that he updates via email)

I still thing its a cipher code, somehow.
This all seem to be missing something: a key. We're basing a lot of this specualtion on nothing. If we can use a key word to decode, we might get somewhere.
Is "30 per set" some sort of key maybe? I had always thought that it was the way we needed to decipher the array.

yes, nice, but if you decipher a useful message with one of these from the webpage, you get nonsense. that is why i dont think we can solve this with that website.

Have you guys found any reference to "Earth Warrior"? My nephew was searching in imageshack for a Tagruato logo and came across this guy with a Tagruato Chuai drilling platform pic.
I see no other reference other than the tags on imageshack.

Another random collection of objects. First it was Hammer, Cheese, Oven mit...Now it's a whole laundry list of seemingly unrelated and irrelevent items. Maybe all these things are just more fake names the movie will be titled.
Let's go see that movie "Dried Fruit!"
"I thought it was called 'Wet Towel!"

deciphering list guys Im 90% sure we wont find anything in this list apart from.. Swiss army knife is important and maybe the warm towel.
the list is actually equipment you would need, the only thing missing is water and a mobile. unless someone a very long time ago named these items knowing Cloverfield was to be made Im sure the above statement is correct.
but full marks for your batman style of decoding.
Im curious though, that swiss army knife is highlighted and of the three symbols cheese, hammer and mitten, the cheese is swiss...
I wonder if the next website will be *.ch

That's a photoshopped image of the Japanese Chikyu Drilling ship.
