My only other theory was that the monster was perhaps "tugged" by the tanker (tug as in tugboat - meaning what it does). I think it is at least safe to say the tanker was followed in some way explaining how the monster got to the city.

The only thing it needs for an appendage is 3 digits. with 3 digits, you can fully grasp anything you want (this was established by engineers working on robotic design). Keep in mind also we are not the only creatures on the planet with grasping appendages. It's not even just primates. There are other mammalian species with opposable digits with grasping capability. Even with just 2 digits, many crustaceans do a pretty good job grasping things.

Dude, what computer/browser/flash version do you use?

The widget is flash, so is youtube. I don't understand why it isn't working for you. Not to say flash doesn't have streaming problems, but I've had no issues.

So this competition has only just really begun to open up; and JJ's NOT Stupid he knows MANY Fans are going to be hunting this - So does anyone possibly think there's something in the 'tag lines'?

So far we've had "Something has found us"

And...

"What is Cloverfield?"

Let's keep an eye out in case it changes again, eh?

It's the streaming that's screwing me up. And letting it run through before playing it back doesn't work. So I get kind of a "Cloverfield Hip Hop Remix" of the clip as opposed to one that makes any kind of sense at all.

 		Looking closer, I think there were some new frames of the monster's movement, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyone else see it?

Cause my computer is being extremely slow. With youtube I can just wait a little for it to load and then watch it. That doesn't work with the widget.

flash player .115 (the newest) is a lot more efficient at this than previous versions. Trust me from someone who works on a browser (Demeter for Mac)

 		Wow, that really rocked with my subwoofer turned up! Smile

I'd like someone to get some audio clips out of that. Really would like to hear the noise the monster makes when he hurls the head of Liberty. Also would be interesting to see people analyze the footsteps... maybe it will provide some insight into what the monster is.

One thing that intrigued me about the clip is that the monster heads straight for Rob's party. Is there something there he is after? Or did they just happen to be in its path?
