Here's some [SPEC] I guess, I remember reading that the Deep Sea Nectar thing promotes muscle growth.

Humans need a skeleton to support our muscles and the body itself. Too much muscle growth (soft ones) would lead the body to collapse..like Marlene

However, creatures without the need for bones like a cephalopod (octopus, squid, cuttlefish..etc.) would not only be able to take massive advantage since they can just grow and grow and grow without worrying that the skeleton would not support them.

Also, cephalopods, don't have a air-bladder, so it could mean that they do fare better with going up and down the water-column without fear of the water pressure doing much to them.

a) What Beth will say when she finds out, and
b) How Marlena look without her usual layers of make up
