Surprised no one has checked the source code yet.

eh, nothing special just an easter egg. Seems like this might kick off after all.

and it looks like there's no "9" anymore; I have no idea what that might mean. http://panicatthedisco.com/images/ <-- index of the images. looks like it was altered yesterday.

As I'm not a myspace user (NOTALOSER*cough*... jk) someone else should probably subscribe to their page or something...

The page has changed now!
If you scroll up and down, the rest of the letters appear on page, so you can align them up, so theyve now given us the answer.

Update:

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1576549/20071214/panic_at_the_disco.jhtml

Quote:
Well, here's what a spokesperson for Panic's label, Atlantic, told MTV News: The clock does indeed refer to "Nine in the Afternoon," which will be the first single from the band's album. No, Panic won't premiere the song online anytime soon, but they are shooting a video for it, on December 20-21 in Los Angeles with director Shane Drake, who helmed their VMA-winning "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" clip, as well as the one for "But It's Better if You Do."

Site has also changed again. Completely empty, with the words, "Oh, back so soon?" in the source.

Well, it's at least an interesting viral marketing thing ^^

Please, let this no be a Panic at the Disco! ARG, if it were anything else, I would care, but not this, because I really hate Panic at the Disco! b/c they are a lame emo band from somewhere I don't give a damn about.

Then don't play the game.

Now there is a jigsaw puzzle missing one piece. This is odd. Also the source message added "It's really nice to see you again"

the filesize is probably too small for stegging, plus the image name is "thisisjustajigsawpuzzle.jpg"

Now its a SWF file.. and contains a time [01:01:08] or a date most probably. 01/01/08
And the source now says: Care for an hors d'oeuvre?

Edit: Place your mouse on the first puzzle piece. ;]

just me, or does that sound clip REALLY not sound like Brendon Urie?

Well anyway, it's not a song i recognize at all, and I've heard large portions of their three new ones (that they've performed), so I'm thinking it's either one that they haven't yet performed live, or it's a clue.

"Oh, we've been so down"? Is that what it says?

Someone on AbsolutePunk also gave these suggestions.

Oh! How we've been so loved

or

Oh! How You've been so wrong.

it sounds like an old man mumbling folk songs.

but i am pretty sure it's "oh how we've been so wrong"

eta: the file is now "is this just a jigsaw puzzle" whereas it used to be "this is just a jigsaw puzzle"

I'm so in for this. *pokes icon*
If it does say "Oh, how we've been so wrong", because it sounds like that to me, maybe they're telling us we've been missing something.
