I was too busy performing bizarre rituals intended to bring about the end of the world to notice this thread because, in my opinion, society is far too sick to survive. But I do love Ghostbusters.

Note to all: the official site for the Ghostbusters game has a place to sign up for employment. This might be a trailhead for an ARG or just some interactive entertainment, you might enjoy checking it out.
Here is the Link to the ghostbusters game site
and the Unfiction thread where the potential trailhead is being discussed

Weirdly enough the guys making the Ghostbusters game are also making a game called Time0. In Time0 the entire city of New York is a monster...

I met Ernie Hudson last year. He was really nice. He didn't even get TOO irritated with all of the cosplayers repeating his lines over and over.

Wrong developer I'm afraid. ZootFly was the studio behind the Ghostbusters game prototype from earlier in the year, the one with a very heavy Gears of War influence and the new Chrysler Touring as the "Ecto-2".
Ghostbusters: The Game is being developed by Universal through the Sierra title, using developing studios Terminal Reality to handle the Xbox 360/PC/Playstation 3 versions of the game, whilst Red Fly is handling the version that's going to be on the Wii/Playstation 2 and DS.
Here's the articles I mentioned in the ARG/E topic for the game:

I had ALL the toys growing up, even that photon pack with the foam stream.
I think some relatives still have the tower floating around. I remember the Ectomobile broke several times on me, it seemed that was the flimsiest of the toys. Maybe I should just take care of my things.
Ghostbusters for Commodore 64, now THAT was a video game!

I just watched the "Return of the Ghostbusters" today. You are right, the effects are very good for a fan film.

Thats exactly where i was! When i was helping in New Orleans after Katrina when I was in Americorps*NCCC (a government national/community service program) They sent us there in between projects. We stayed at the hotel right across from that jet.

Very cool! Hey, thanks for helping out. I wish everyone would do stuff like that no matter how big or small. The world would be a better place for sure.
