If the movie doesn't take place on 1-18-08, that might explain the lack of TIDO updates. Whatever they were doing succeeded, and GP ate their lunch.

That 'review' is just a goof.
AICN is trying to get web-hits, so they post that nonsense.

I suspect the biggest "flashback" the reviewer was talking about is the infamous Coney Island scene.

It's probably inserted as an ironic flashback to "better times" when Rob and (Beth?) were having a great day at the amusement park and then SMASH CUT TO PRESENT as GP bites the heads off our intrepid heroes/heroins (not misspelled, in light of the reviewer's obvious pharmacological hobbies).

And for the record, about the "third" terrible thing the monster does that Reviewer refuses to discuss: I'm betting my money on some form of sexual assault. Reviewer *probably* wasn't being figurative when he kept saying "monster f---s this, monster f---s that."

And if so, where THE hell is this PG-13 rating coming from? Good god, the more I hear about this film, the more I think it should be an NC-17. Rolling Eyes

Yes, thats the one. Cool Thats cool if the flashback was happening throught the whole movie instead of just in the beggining or end, where it would keep cutting back to that flashback scene in pieces, and then back to the night of the attack...if i read that part of the review correctly, i think thats how they might have it.

 Important Notes
to note....

Ok, so if this insane ranting is true, their were some important notes to take in:
1) The creature crawls
2) There are smaller creatures ("creepy-crawly things")
3) I think the 3rd thing the creature does, which has him grossed out, might have something to do with the exploding people, ie marlena.. With the commercials coming out on tv, the sound effects and clear view make her expansion undeniable.
4) The monster EATS people...
5) There are flashbacks

There might be more...add to my list

Very interesting "review". And funny at times, but it screams loudly one thing: DO NOT go to this movie high! It seems like it's going to be a skull f*** as it is, so any mind-altering drug will just enhance that experience, and apparently, in a bad way, given the last two lines in that crazy man's "review".

I see why he doesn't write for he New Yorker. Damn! Screwy

Edited to say: 100 posts! woo hoo! I know, pales in comparison to many others, but given my circumstances, this is a feat! Yay! Very Happy

Beth sent a MySpace message to Rob 10 days after that, so it hasn't happened yet Smile

People what reeves was saying is that 1-18-08 is the day it happened. Thats all it had no other signifigance, a day is a day and thats all. He even said they just had to put in the previews so you knew it was a movie, and a commercial or etc.
Also, all the information being released is in chronological order. That means, its like we are experiencing what has already happened with them.
