Regarding Wab's theory of the CM trying to make others off themselves; I just spent two days reading 2-2.5k posts, including the whole trailhead and several others, and I'm about there. Before I go vomit (not because of you people, I feel no small fidelity(pun intended) to all of you at this point) due to my head spinning, I wanted to add one item.

With the references to Italy, Caesar, and the Latin for "the die is cast" earlier, and the CM's affirmation that this latest code relates to Deut 5:9, I figured I would post the Latin translation for Deut 5:9 (I think a Catholic standard).

Quote:
Non adorabis ea, et non coles. Ego enim sum Dominus Deus tuus: Deus æmulator, reddens iniquitatem patrum super filios in tertiam et quartam generationem his qui oderunt me:

retreived from: http://www.newadvent.org/bible/deu005.htm

Granted the 'æ' character may cause problems, but I'll leave this to those with a greater presence of mind than myself at the moment. I need some R&R (and maybe some alky to go with it). Maybe when I return, my two eyes will be keener, and my nose twitching.

edit: grammar

Welcome! ^_^

I know it's overwhelming reading through everything (trust me, I did it too and it wasn't much better then), but we really appreciate you catching yourself up.

Ditto! There is a lot to swallow. I started right before the TDC stuff so I didn't have quite as much to catch up on. I tried using the latin Deut in a vigenere and no dice. Other than that I really don't know what to do with it. It was a good find though and possibly may still be useful, unfortunately codes aren't my strong suit. (I'm starting to wonder what is)

Had a few ideas for the uncoding of the latest, but I wanted to do further research first.

After wrangling with a multitude of software installs today, I went through the video frame by frame. Also, I have separated the audio in case anyone here is good with that sort of thing. I have no idea what could be there.

I have posted my results below. Now, maybe I'll follow up on some theories regarding the codes.

And, as an aside, if I'm to be trouted, I prefer canned.

Edit: By the way, I know the codes were posted. I just wanted the images in one easy to access place. And, I did leave out the (exact) 'Oh, do you?' (frame 6045 to 6047), and 'I know.' (frame 6620 to 6625). Not sure the divorce decree means a damn, but there is the city, I hadn't noticed until going through slowly. Probably nothing.

Super unnecessary edit: I now absolutely hate flash video files (.flv's).

My last post was wrong, I forgot I messed up the spacing of the code, it's "Wptfawwe Sic" not "Wptfaw we Sic" so disregard that...

I emailed the CM a couple days ago asking for a clue. But he must be on vacation or somethin, he hasnt logged into youtube in 6 days and he usually is on there every day. So unless one of us has a light bulb go off, we will probably have to wait for a clue to figure this one out... Confused

[Spec] Audio restoration

First: I'm not familiar with the music used in the response composition. This alone may resolve the issue.

Second: I have no prior experience here, though I did try to download some audio software and give it a shot. My results were pretty much non-existant.

Assumption: The original audio from Kimberly Miller's video should be able to be inverted and overlayed with the modified audio from the CM's response video. I think this would then result in a complete removal of Kimberly Miller's original audio track, resulting in only the CM's addition's remaining. These could then be listened to backwards and forwards for additional information.

Is this possible, or am I way off on something? If so, do we have access to anyone able to undertake this task.

I have separated the audio track to Kimberly Miller's original vid, if I should attach it say so.

Oh and regarding:
Quote:
Not backwards [the codes], and you cannot decode them all the same way.
Happy holidays, Nicole!
Sam

Does this not seem to indicate the key will likely be reversed, in parts and/or some of the time? I've been messing with Cryp Tool (vigenere and ROT) for hours to no avail, though I'm still learning this as well. Is the syntax (spacing, and punctuation) likely to be retained, or...?

BTW, Hello, everyone. Thanks for the welcome, I hope I don't wear it out.

We were trying to reverse the code to try and figure out if there was something there and that was pretty much the CM stating that we don't need to reverse it to solve it. The second part of his quote I think is him saying each of the individual codes (as you posted above) will be solved in two separate ways.

Deadfish already covered it but I just wanted to make what I posted a little more clear. I sent him an email asking if the codes needed to be reversed, and if they can all be decoded in the same way. He said:

I added in [the codes] not him.

About the "ae"

It shouldn't be that bad. "Ae" is always pronounced like the english "I", so we could possibly use that in place of it. If not, then it could be a problem.

 CM logged into Youtube

FYI - The CM has finally logged into Youtube again for the first time in just over a week.

I'm currently showing he logged in 33 minutes ago. Movement?

Not much movement but the CM made a comment on Michael's response video.

Is it just me or is there something somehow humorous about giving a 'thumbs up' to a somewhat threatening response left on a supposedly desperate father's statement of resolve to return his son to saftey?

And FYI, I have absolutely no idea who who would do something like that.... Shifty Eyes Flaming Nutter

Wooooooo...I read his response. CM is not happy lol Shocked

Who knows though? Eric might already be dead.

Something about all of this seems off though. I feel like we're all missing a very obvious clue but I have no idea what it is. Do y'all know what I mean?
