 		[SPEC] A few things to clear up
Alot of inconsitincies I have noticed
Ok, this is going to be my first post on this site, so don't shoot me.

I've noticed quite a few things that people believe to be absolutely confirmed. The first point case is that there are going to be mini-monsters. Nowhere has it confirmed that there will be any monsters other then Mr. Grumpy pants. The 2nd trailer shows a girl standing behind a tarp with two Hazmats about to poke her with some needle; we can confirm this from screen shots. Its also confirmed that some women expands very quickly. Other then that, we have nothing. Just cause some chick expands doesn't mean she's going to explode (as dumb as that would be) or that a monster would pop out of her carcass.

Also, the supposed pre-screening of the movie by TWB, if it hasn't been disproven yet heres my say on it.

Completely bogus, number one the movie described in the spoiler is definitely R rated. A cop gets decimated by a flying car, come on now; that garners an R rating. Also, Jamie is not in the movie at all as far as we know! The new Jamie and Teddy video states that Teddy is captured by Tagruato, well if he is in captivity then how is 'Jamie with him all the time' like is stated in the alleged prescreen. I doubt Tagruato is just gonna let him go after he's been spying on top secret projects that they have already killed over [death of a marine biologist article on Tagruato]. Also, the film synopsis says its about "5 young new yorkers throw their friend a going away party" that would equal 6 characters. Five and a friend. So that proves that Jamie is no longer part of the equation either. I doubt we are going to hear anything more about Jamie. Shes just a red shirt to fuel a look into Teddys involvement with TIDO wave.

So most of all I have said is CONFIRMED sources (minus the last part about Teddy and TIDO wave, but Randy is confirmed to be a TIDO wave member and we know he is somehow in cahoots with Teddy). I just wanted to clear up a few things.

What I expect:

A huge story to be explained up too 1-18-08 regarding Tagruato and what they are up too. Cloverfield will serve as a documentary of what Tagruato caused. We will probably still know little to nothing when the movie comes out. When it finally hits theaters (which couldn't be soon enough) I doubt its going to tell us anything about the monster, were gonna see it stomp around really angry and then I think we'll see it dead, other then that I don't see how it would possible to explain much. These people are concerned with saving there hides not whats stomping around; live now, ask questions later. After the movie comes out I think the ARG is going to get really active with fake 'investigations' of Tagruato trying to link them to the attack. Tagruato is a dirty company, we know that much; just how dirty is the scariest part.

As for the monsters roar? Its a yawn.

 		If the movie was just about the monster destroyign stuff, and had no background information or anything of the sort, it would make not a lot of money.

JJ and Co. will probably add some sort of story for the people who are seeing Cloverfield and know nothing of the ARG. Otherwise, alot of people are going to state the movie as having a crap load of plot holes and making no sense.

As for the smaller monsters, yes it is speculated, but there are various things that point to there being them (such as the woman expanding, the picture of Rob and Beth holding a door shut, etc.). Plus, think how awesome little monsters would be. I would hope that there are some if I were you.

As for the movie having little plot. I think JJ is aiming for just a blair witch kind of movie. We are gonna be put into the seats of these kids going on a roller coaster ride. Its just gonna be the thrills.

I dunno..

I think the movies plot is going to be Rob looking for Beth while the military is going nuts with MGP....

Other then that... I doubt much will be explained about MGP... It just wouldn't fit well with the plot... I dunno, a team of writers can do anything so you never know what to expect!

 		Each new clip that is released to the public adds new clues to the game but at the same time invalidates old theories. Whatever we heard or saw in the previous release is no longer relevant given new information.

For example, in the teaser and trailer the monster's growl accompanies the large explosion. In the new clip, there is no roar, so now people are speculating that the explosion may be from the tanker that capsized in the harbor.

Huh? What? A tanker? Yeah, another curveball thrown by J.J. and crew. I love how deep we are getting into the story, but it's also kind of funny to see all our old preconceptions dashed by the latest info.

All that is certain is that nothing is certain. We are at the mercy of the PMs. The crab-like sounds heard in the subway in the trailer, which were speculated to be the mini-monsters, may very well be just another mind game by the PMs to throw us off. For all we know, those sound effects may not even be used in the final film.

Marlena "exploding" in the trailer may just be more mindgames.

Yeah, the relevations of the widget have opened up a can of worms... Nothing is as it was a month ago...

So is it intentional? Or is JJ just touching up parts of the movie? Bah...

He doesn't poke her with a needle.

First off, I said hes about to poke her with a needle. There is clearly a needle in his hand... I saw the picture multiple times, its on this forum somewhere...

The only thing I stated was confirmed was stuff we could draw from trailers (which are changing each time anyway ...=|) And conclusive evidence from the ARG sites... Nothing more nothing less.
