[QUESTION] Any trusted UF member received mysterious memo? ... I believe we need confirmation before jumping on this as IG. It just seems that the people who found these mysterious letters had low post counts and could simply be someone game jacking using multiple accounts.
I'd like more confirmation before jumping all over this as IG.
As I mentioned in the previous thread, I'll be receiving my own Slusho merch in the mail soon, so I will confirm one way or the other when it happens, but until then (or there after), it'd be nice to have some other confirmation as well.
Edit: Tagged and clarified. -SpaceBass

i too would like to know if anyone else has received a memo like this, to prove that it is IG.
However, i am thinking that clues like this will be randomly placed within slusho orders so some may not have the clue in them. Worth a try. Will be purchasing one myself shortly to see what i get

This is getting ridiculous. I love that photographic evidence isn't enough for you people.

Possibly, these people had low post counts because they never had anything to say before that hadn't already been said. I know that's why I never post. But I'm still here every day.

I'm pretty sure this was posted before the photo evidence of the packaging came out.

possible, but I don't like this "trusted member" idea. Just because someone has a small post count doesn't mean they're lying.

He's not saying they're lying. He's just saying that we don't know the UF posters with low counts because we don't really hear from them. We just need someone we know well here at UF like red walrus or Euchre to confirm this.
Edit: Spelt Euchre's name correctly.

I doubt I'm a trusted UF guy, but i have two separate orders coming in. One for a shirt and hat. and one that i placed the next day for a hoodie. Hopefully i get the better and best case scenario i get both halves. i'll have pics if anything. ill make sure to also have some other form of definitive stuff in the background that you'd be able to see on my myspace or sumthing so you know they are really my pictures and such.

As I could demonstrate, photographic evidence can be fairly readily faked.
Actually, if you refer back to the 'adshel posters' threads, you'd find that it most certainly can be faked - and even quite convincingly.

There's a higher probability of such things being real, though.
regardless, people are just too paranoid.
But REALLY I don't want to argue or anything. Just an observation. I'm here simply for the ride.

Oh man, WHAT? Has anyone established the geo of the OP and others who have "found" the Tag memo?
BTW, the company that I own has access to literally thousands of IP's and millions of e-mail addys.
Don't you think I could duplicate the document and support my own finding? I could have hundreds of fake "low post" accounts at UF and you would never know.
If all I had for a life was masturbating to Japanese Anime and playing with my PSP all friggin night, I could pull off a very elaborate hoax. But since I spend all my friggin free time surfing UF, I do not have the time.
The formula for being skeptical is first (1) post with course correction information and or huge leads. I call it a drive by.
So please, not paranoid, leave that to the tokers.

Elaralas, Kinko's, UPS Store, Your School, Your Work, probably Your neighbor has a scanner.
They are on sale for like $30 bucks at Staples.
Give me your shipping address and I will pay to have one delivered to your home. That way, you can scan the memo and post crystal clear images for the UF crew to check it out.
You can PM me your address and I will go directly to Tiger Direct or one of those online computer stores and send you a FRIGGIN SCANNER!

I ordered a shirt yesterday after all the hoopla so if I get anything similar to what's been reported (1/2 of a ripped sheet of a Tagruato memo) I'll post with pics and I'll scan it in (I have a scanner)…this is assuming I'm counted as a trusted member (hopefully I am!).
At this time, I personally believe the claims and the inserted memo. No one's reported receiving merchandise since Nov 24 (which seems to be the date in question) without this memo/clue included so until then I'm assuming it's legit.
P.S. I was initially a big doubter of the guy over at CHUD who said he saw the new trailer 2 weeks before Beowulf and he turned out to be right.
Well see....hopefully I'll get my package next week.
