Re: Free Digitized Cards with SASE

It's not really about digital cards, but has anyone tried sending an e-mail to 39 clues saying that (lie) you didn't find any cards in book 3? Question

I didn't think that book 3 was out yet. They clearly state that the codes for each book wouldn't be available until after release of the book.

I actually got a card (don't recall which one) that was perfect in every way except that there was no code stamped on it. The result was that they added that card to my account. I think it might be a collectors item some day. Very Happy

Have you tried?
I'm here all day; schools are closed due to weather.

if you can make note of the 2 codes, you can go to the Surveillance Code Section of the wiki and check.
It gets even easier when you notice you can click the little icon next to the word Code at the top of the chart. It will sort the table by Code, making it super easy to see if the code is listed or not.

Just checked, and yes, they're already there.

By the way, that was a very tactful and polite way of telling me to get off my rear and find out for myself. Wink

I'm not a Janus, but I do Know Picasso (we know he's a Janus from stolen archive 21) had his blue period which was inspired by his sadness.

I have been looking through all the posts and have noticed a few people have posted, but haven't shared their camera card codes with us. Now would be a great time to come clean.

theories

Well, as this thread hasn't been locked, and my simple refusal to post a theory in a thread about which branch is better, I'll post my ideas here.

First, founders cards. We now have 9 of them. 2 from each of the 4 branches, and one from Cahill. So are there 5 "branches" or is this Cahill "goup" (for lack of a clarifying word) a seperate entity. If you look at the dates, the Ekats go back to 1646 Flamsteed. The Lucian's have Ching Shih as a founder, but there is no date on her card. All of these founders are relatively recent, but hints from the books and online notes make the family much older. So founders can't fit the definition of a founder (beginner of something) therefore, my conclusion is they are people who found clues.

I don't think the man in black is a Madrigal. If you look at the back of card 48 it says "no Madrigal is getting to Russia on my Watch" It's just a hunch, nothing more to go on besides that phrase.

The instrument on card 7 is probably an oboe. Is this of any significance?

I think it is odd that Houdini is in the Janus, and Spamgalli (card 30) is ekat if the card branch is anything to go by. Amy gives us a clue in OFN Houdini is an escape artist, but I can't work out exactly how Spamgalli fits with the EKAT Branch whose strengths are "Inventing, science, imagination" Is hypnotism a science? or imagination?

Oh actually, i went to wikibruce to get the avatar. I went to series 1 cards and picked an ekaterina card. Then, a screen will appear with a bigger image of the card and then at the bottom will be the logo of the ekaterina. For me, i went to http://various.wikibruce.com/39/Card1.

They will have logos for lucian, janus and tomas too. Just click on the number of the card with the branch you want.

P.S: Please dont use the same avatar as me.
P.S.S: Are you an ekat by any chance?

misleading

I have just entered my book 2 code into my dummy account. I now have all clues EXCEPT clue 4. Now this is misleading, (or is it false advertising?) Scholastic says the game can be played without the cards. Obviously, that isn't true. You NEED to collect certain cards to get the clues. Who wants to bet that the next two waves of cards will have more than one ultra-rare card with a clue attached? This really is a money maker!

anyone from Australia? Singapore? Malaysia?

I was just reading hte help section on the 39 clues and came across this:

What do I need to do to win the Episode Prize?

For residents of Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, to win the Episode Prize, you need to have twenty (20) cards in your account and you need to be the winner of rounds of timed, skill-based questions about Book 1: The Maze of Bones and other aspects of the Cahill world.

If so, is there another section to your game with these timed questions on it?
