It was very strange. when I tried to log on I couldn't get in. So I shut the browser, and when I typed in the URL I was already logged in?!? Not sure what happened.

Logging on...

Sometimes, the internet connection may be slow so it doesnt really respond well. When you closed the browser, probably your computer was still logging on for you in the background. That's probably the reason why you were already logged in when you restarted the browser.

Ive encountered similar problems before with the cards where i type in the card code and is doesnt register and when i restarted the browser, the card is already in my account.

Cahill Web problem

When I click on the George McClain link on the Cahill web search page My browser just takes me back to the search page. Does anyone else have this problem? I wrote to scholastic and they just said to refresh the page. Now, I've tried this link on at least 5 different computers and none of them work.

If it works for you, can you post the url so I can cut and paste to see what it says?

Question

We Cahills here consider the information you seek as being classified Top Secret. If you are willing to become a member, identify your branch, and be prepared to surrender your Surveillance Code, Joe yo, then the mystery of the Decoder, Lab Rat and more will be yours. To pursue your goal, you must seek out the one we affectionally call KATSMOM, the Cahill of Wisdom & Theory. Katsmom, are you there? Lead this poor Guest into the Truth & the Light.

I'll second that! All truth will be revealed with full disclosure of surveillance codes and proof of membership. It's easy to join, no charges, and lots of help will come your way!

Thanks wacaga. I'm glad it's just not me. I've sent off another email in the hopes that they just misunderstood my first one. George McClain has never worked for me. Just a bugbear I'm sure, but I want to see what it says!

slowlogging on

I know what you mean katsmom when you say logging on was slow. It happens especially on my laptop, wich obiously laggs a bit behind the desktop computer. i too have had cards that i knew i entered, but didn't show up until the next time i logged on. i also had 2 of the 6 cards you get from mission 1. it is strange. i haven't gotten any of them in a card pack, yet i have two of each. has anyone else noticed this? plz tell me if this is Trout .

Your freind (or enemy if you don't like lucians)

P.S. CHRISTMAS IS COMING! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy I tink i've been nice... Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes

P.P.S. srry for all the mistakes. I'm on IE (My Mozilla crashed Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad ) Katsmom: i was looking through my coin collection today, and found a coin from hong kong! It was neat.

Are you talking about the six cards we get when we create an account? If so, I noticed it too. Why would they give you two of each i wonder?

P.S: Even through youre lucian, you are my friend (unless its the backstabbing type of lucian. In that case i have to think twice)

P.S.S: What do you really mean by "I also had 2 of the 6 cards you get from mission 1"?

If you read everything, you would have seen that I posted this question on the One False Note thread at http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=586511#586511

Had you searched the forum Wink , I am sure you would have found that I posted the problem with George's link on 2 Nov. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=576647&search_id=1794373629#576647 The email I got from the Help Team said:
Quote:
The 39 Clues help team is available to help with technical problems and general game assistance, but unfortunately cannot provide hints or answers to problems. We suggest you ask friends, parents, or teachers for help.
I am sure that there is no way that they could have mis-interpreted my email. They are obviously hiding something. Evil or Very Mad

You obviously didn't look here before posting, because I created an entire thread with tips. Try looking here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27256
A few other hints: Read the posting guidelines before posting.
It's a good idea to search before posting. Use the postreply button -- not the newtopic button. And do not make the same post in several different threads. Good Luck!
